Conference: Western Athletic
HT: 6-0.5
WT: 225
40 Time: 4.46
Biography: Junior college transfer awarded all-Conference honors as a senior with rushing totals of 146/1199/18 and 27/363/1 receiving. Rushing totals the prior year included 86/453/2.

Negatives: Not a physical runner and tends to finish plays out of bounds. Does not display much strength carrying the ball. Must pick up the blocking intensity.

Analysis: Green is a physically gifted ball carrier with the athletic skills and running abilities to make it at the next level. He offers potential as a second back in the NFL if he rounds out his game and carries the ball with more physicality.

Outstanding pick. Great downhill runner that attacks the hole, great receiver out of the backfield, used to playing in the GB style of offense. Love it, and y'all will too.

Sounds like a good compliment to Grant or Starks.

Obviously I am not thrilled with it, but I like that we are getting more pass catching options to help out Rodgers.

I think, if anything, that this signals Jackson is on his way out.

I like all these picks. Ted is filling positions we've needed for awhile. OT, return utility man and now receiving back to run screens with.

Does this mean Grant's days are numbered or are we just not going to bring Jackson back?

This guy does not waste a lot of time moving east and west. He finds where he is going and eats yards quick.

Green does not project to be an every-down back at the next level, but he is a weapon in the passing game and could contribute on third down. He has prototypical size, but he runs a bit upright and will not consistently break tackles in the NFL. He also has a case of fumble-itis. He excels in the passing game, as he shows the ability to consistently get open, catches the ball away from his body and turns upfield without any wasted motion. Green will likely be a late round pick due to his ability as a receiver.

Green is a big back with quick feet. Finds running lanes quickly and shows good explosion through the hole. Possesses a bit of a wiggle to make defenders miss in the open field. Shows great instincts as a receiver, runs precise routes and has terrific hands. Fights to the whistle and finishes runs.

Lacks the top end speed to break the long one. Runs too high and gets tackled too easily at times. Will not be able to push the pile in short yardage situations at the next level. Does not keep the ball high and tight and fumbles far too frequently. Struggles to block linebackers in pass protection.

I bet he's thrilled to be going from Hawaii to Green Bay.

Either Kiper or McShay said he is definitely a return man.

I thought if we were gonna tap the Hawaii well that we would go with Salas. Like this pick.
