Predicting Each Game

Post#1 » by Greatness » Wed Aug 3, 2011 1:59 am

Week 1 vs Saints: W - the tradition of the Superbowl winning team winning the season opener continues as Lambeau is pumped, Saints should provide a good challenge though
Week 2 - @ Panthers: W - not much needs to be said, it's the Panthers
Week 3 - @ Bears: W - as much they want revenge, we are the vastly superior team especially with Finley back, only way we lose is if they get homecooking
Week 4 - vs Broncos: W - shouldn't be too close
Week 5 - @ Falcons: L - first loss of the season to a pretty good team, they will be pumped after the trashing we gave them in the playoffs
Week 6 - vs Rams: W - I think Bradford is poised for superstardom, but he just doesn't have enough weapons yet
Week 7 - @ Vikings: W - Peterson might give us some problems, but Mcnabb is not what he used to be and out offense should have a field day against their secondary
Week 8 - BYE
Week 9 - @ Chargers: L - I could see San Diego finally figuring it out and having a damn good season, Rivers is a beast plus they got a great D. About that time of the year they get hot
Week 10 - vs Vikings: W - see week 7
Week 11 - vs Bucs: W - Bucs have a good team and could really give us problems but I think we pull out a close one
Week 12 - @ Lions: W - although we'll be on a short week I think the team will remember the stinker in this stadium last year and will be extra motivated
Week 13 - @ Giants: L - just due for a bad game, I see us losing by a field goal
Week 14 - vs Raiders: W - this should be a blowout, they lost the best player on their D who was a corner...ARod has a feast
Week 15 - @ Cheifs: W - I feel like KC will have a disappointing year after surprising everyone last year, we should win
Week 16 - vs Bears: W - Christmas Day, fans will be pumped, Lambeau will be crazy, we destroy them
Week 17 - vs Lions: W - only way I see us losing would be if the starters sit, otherwise we should win

What are your predictions?

It's hard for me to do this because I always end up changing my mind.

I think we'll split the series with Detroit (probably win the first and lose the 2nd), lose to San Diego, and my egg laying game shall go to New York because I think we're bound to let an easy game slip away.

Cowherd predicted 14-2 for us today. He predicted 11-5 for the Eagles.

So we lose pretty much every tough game? Seems like you're expecting the worst

Are you predicting as many injuries as last year too?

"L" means the other team lost and "W" means we won.

I see potential losses in weeks 11, 12, 15, 17, and possibly even 2.

We will shut out Cam Newton and Co. That is the game I'm least worried about on the schedule. Even if our O didn't score a point, we'd have multiple pick-6's against Cam.

We'd have to lay a bigger egg than we did vs Detroit last December to lose to Carolina.

Week 1 vs Saints (W) - Probably our toughest game on the schedule but I don't see anyone beating us on this night.

Week 2 @Carolina (W) - Really Aaron It Out?

Week 3 @Bears (W) - Another tough grind it out game vs the Bears that we win by a touchdown or less.

Week 4 vs Broncos (W) - One of those close at halftime games we blow open up in the 2nd half.

Week 5 @Falcons (L) - On the road vs a good team and after starting 4-0 we are kinda due for a loss.Plus Atlanta should be fired up for this game.

Week 6 vs Rams (W) - The '99 Rams wouldn't win this game.

Week 7 @Vikings (W) - Mcnabb gets re-acquainted with Clay Matthews but this time for the full 60 minutes.

Week 8 - Bye

Week 9 @Chargers (W) - I would hate to have to play the Packers after a bye week,Chargers in the 2nd half of the season @SD should be tough though,Packers win by a TD or less.

Week 10 vs Vikings (W) - Get a stretcher I think Mcnabb is hurt.

Week 11 vs Buccaneers (W) - The Bucs are back at Lambeau just like old times and like old times they go home with a loss.

Week 12 @Lions (L) - Lions on Thanksgiving always makes me nervous.Packers at 9-1 are due for an egg and when you combine that with the Lions playing their ''Super Bowl'' I think we lose this one.

Week 13 @Giants (W) - Fired up Packers with a little extra rest.

Week 14 vs Raiders (W) - Raiders at Lambeau in December...no.

Week 15 @Chiefs (L) - Packers have to have at least one game that they win statistically but lose on the scoreboard.

Week 16 vs Bears (W) - Christmas night at Lambeau, not a place I'd want to be if I was the Bears.

Week 17 vs Lions (W) - With HFA locked up Matt Flynn and the 2nd stringers still get it done vs the Lions.

13-3,I could see 14-2 though.

I wouldn't say the Chiefs would be an unexpected loss. Last time we played them in Kansas City they won 4 games and we won 13 and they were winning until there was about 3 minutes left in the game. Arrowhead is just a tough place to play.
