Had a dream last night that the Badgers lost 51-35. This will be refreshing to watch after the Brewers get swept tomorrow.

Are you ever going to stop being so damn pessimistic about the Brewers, even after they've proved you to be really wrong about how many games they'd win? Come on trwi, try enjoying more this fabulous season by the Brewers instead of constantly looking for any reason to nitpick or bitch about the team. The Brewers history has shown that a season like this one hasn't happened many times before and likely won't happen many times in the future, yet you regularly post like the team is on pace for only winning 82 games.
As for the Badgers, i expect the offense to pretty much be dominant as it was last season, but i will be interested to see how the pass rush fares tomorrow. I think the pass rush production this year by Wisconsin could arguably end up being the biggest key to their season.

Really wish I could watch this game, but I'm getting dragged to Lambeau to watch 3 string vs practice squad candidates

Packers forum. Don't post about those scrubs over here, IMO.

The scrubs that are on pace to win 95+ games?
And I think twirl brought them up first. Either way, pessimism about a team that is 25 games over .500 because they lost two straight games is funny to me. If you're doing that, you're trying hard to be pessimistic.
As for tonight, heading straight to the game from work, supposed to be 88 at kickoff. Excited to see Wilson and Borland. I hope we cover.

Pretty sure I quoted Twirly too.

On the subject of something that matters though... The Badgers.
I'm excited to see if this QB lives up to the hype. Also excited to see Nick Toon dominance.

It will be damn weird seeing a QB like Russell Wilson on the field for the Badgers. I don't think the team will be as good as some have hopes for, but they should be exciting to watch and they'll win plenty of games. James White FTW.

I'm primarily interested to see if they will let him control the offense and become a little more passing oriented... or if they just stick to the ground game and use him as a way to just loosen up defenses from time to time.
The Badgers always seem to have a pretty solid WR core and I actually think a lot of their QBs have been solid over the years (seeing as how a lot of them become NFL back ups)... But they still never really seem to go to the air a lot.
We'll see though I guess. I highly doubt we do a lot of 3/4 wide, spread it out type stuff.

Hoping to find a Packers/Badgers bar in L.A. to watch this one. Incredibly curious to see Russel Wilson at the helm. I'm at the Milwaukee airport right now and there are a bunch of badger fans flying to Vegas right now, thought that was kind of odd.

Holiday weekends are huge in Vegas. I imagine since the game is tonight they decided to wear Badger garb on the flight.

One of these days our paths are going to cross while playing craps.

I was in Vegas last year and it was ridiculous. I brought a Badgers shirt and ended up not going to the game but I didn't wear any apparel because I didn't want to stick out like the other 30,000 sore thumbs.

This is already the slowest day of work ever.
I'm leaving at about 3:45 and heading straight down there to start tailgating.
Can't wait!

I used to play craps at Poto all the time but they don't have $5 tables much anymore, unless you want to go week days which I can't do usually. With the way I play there's a big difference between a $5 table and $10 table. With a $5 table I'll have an initial outlay of $31-$37 on the table and a $10 table it's double that. The swings are just too great for me losing $62-$74 a pop on a cold table.
Another thing Poto does that pisses me off is that if you are at a $5 table and they raise it to $10 they don't grandfather you in, everyone has to play at the higher rate right away. In Vegas, and everywhere else I've gambled if the table minimum is raised while you are at a table you can continue to play at the lower amount, new players have the higher amount.
But they only have 4 craps tables and they are almost always packed so I guess they can do as they wish.

MD, you're killing this image I had of you as a high roller with a ton of bling hanging all over at the craps table...and the doorman.
