Lucky for us we play nickle like 90% of our snaps now. Still sucks though.

Lovely.

Wynn looked beastly last week. Hope he's the real deal.

LOL at "considerable" over using a number.

Give Tommie Harris a look? I know it seems like he's done, but still only 28. I'm just not comfortable at all with our DL right now.

I actually still like our D-Line a lot. Raji is one of the top NTs, Green/Pickett are both very solid veterans, Wynn is showing some serious promise and I think Wilson is solid.

What is the injury? Hard to think of a sprained knee that might or might not need surgery and then suddenly does but only keeps him out for a few weeks?

Meniscus, sure, but that's not a sprain.

Trade Newhouse to the Steelers for a young back up DE?

Robbing Peter to pay Paul, imo.

I don't think our DL is terrible by any means, but I thought Neal was the one guy on the line with the potential be be a disruptive DE on all downs (rush/pass). I'm not saying Wynn can't be that guy, I just had really high hopes for Neal. Pickett and Green are basically run stuffers only, Wynn is primarily a rush end, and Wilson is just OK at both. I thought Neal could be an every down difference maker.

I still think that (a pass rushing DE) is what they are accomplishing by playing Green/Pickett at NT on passing downs and Raji at DE.

I think that is a brilliant idea by the Packers.

Haven't they primarily been running nickel D with only Raji and Wynn on the line on passing downs?

They've been using 2-4-5 on most running downs too.

Yeah, it's almost a bigger deal that So'oto is back than that Neal is still out.

Hopefully he can be back around the bye week for a playoff push.

They run 2-4-5 on most downs. So in those downs neither of the guys are really "DE's", they are both "DT's" pretty much.

One way or another, Raji can put a pass rush on.

Eh, the guy has 2 games of NFL experience. Yeah we expected him to at least partially replace Jenkins but at this point anything we get out of Neal is gravy. I certainly wouldn't expect anything out of him this year.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.
