I'm concerned that we gave up 500 yards of offense with numerous defensive breakdowns and sporadic pressure on the QB. I think it would be somewhat niave not to be somewhat concerned with the play of the defense thus far.

Want some opinions on the Finley catch. I counted 4 steps after he caught the ball. If that same play was made at the 30 is it a catch? If he makes that catch at the 3 and stumble back into the endzone is that a catch? And how many steps does it take to "process" a catch?

I'd rather have defensive breakdowns than being completely outmatched or outefforted.

Die NFL rulebook.

He had posession and took several steps then fell to the ground and the ball popped out because of the contact with the ground. It is moronic to have that count as a catch in the regular field of play but not have it could as a catch in the endzone.





I would have preferred seeing Lee lining up outside with Wood inside in our 2-4-5 set, but they instead went with Bush. I like Bush, but I think Lee is a much better cover CB.

Item 3: End Zone Catches. If a player catches the ball while in the end zone, both feet must be completely on the ground before losing possession, or the pass is incomplete.
