PkrsBcksGphsMqt is going to be so conflicted with Decker on the Broncos.

Bit of a trap game with ATL coming up the week after. You know we are going to get their best after the ass kicking we handed to them in the playoffs last season.

Nope. I mean the Bears have Marion Barber and Matt Spaeth and I didn't have any problem cheering against them.

Will be nice to home again - only been there once in the last 7 meaningful games.

I don't want to get too far ahead, but at least 6-1 by the BYE is very likely.

Don't let it be the Dolphins game, should be easy 4-0.

Not to be a downer, but what are everyone's thoughts on Claymaker? He doesn't seem anywhere near as dominance as last year.. He had some huge plays in the running game today and still got at cutler (see the clutch arm nudge), but he doesn't seem to be performing at the beyond-human level of which I've grown accustomed?
I have to admit, during his rookie year I was a bit worried about how film study might help teams slow him down but figured that his relentless motor would always make up for it.
This might just be much adieu about nothing, but I'd like to see Clay notch his dominance back up to last season's standard.

I think it's a 1/1/1 distribution:
1) More focus can be put on him without Cullen on the other side...
2) ...so he's being moved around more, trying to get him away from a scheme geared towards stopping him, where he isn't at his best...
3) ...but when he's alone on the edge, he's not "just" using his best move anymore, he's using a wider variety of spins and jukes, and right now they aren't to the level of his 'run fast with body at 45-degree angle' magic

Well sure, I've seen plenty of that when Capers dials up the 3 man rush/prevent defense, but he doesn't seem to be killing the 1v1 opportunities that he has been getting. Again, I don't want to understate his performance as I think he's the most valuable player on the defense, but it seems like his burst has dropped from a 9.7/10 to a 9.3 from the first half of last season to now.
Well said OBF-MKE. I've been missing the 45* angled magic this year, but it seems like he is working on developing other skills. In the long-run that should be a good thing, and I am probably underrating the impact Cullen had on collapsing the other side of the opposing offensive line and thus keeping the QB within the Clay Makers range.
