The Godgers thread.

Aaron Rodgers deserves his own thread. Lets hope I dont jinx him with this thread.
First, his 64-yard pass Sunday to receiver Jordy Nelson was one of the best throws I've seen him make. Rolling to his right, Rodgers didn't have time to set his feet and simply flung the ball about 55 yards in the air. Second, that pass helped elevate Rodgers' completion percentage on throws of 20 or more yards downfield to 65.2 percent this season. That's a better completion percentage than all but three NFL quarterbacks have on all of their throws. Amazing.

I see what you are going for, and I too am excited about his play. However this just reaks of the kind of hubris that the football gods look unfavorably upon. You yourself sensed it and tried to alleviate that with your hope of non jinxing. Let us not become Narcissus. Frankly even calling him Godgers troubles me. Let us stay humble. Focus on one game at a time. And pray for the salvation of an adequate pass rush. Amen.

Another crazy thing is if not for two drops that turned into interceptions, Rodgers would be sitting there with a 24-1 TD/INT ratio.

Don't worry, course I know Tebow got jobbed big time on this just like always... I was simply taking the other side of this one to try and start one of those 20 page newz-circular-argument-threads that elevate this board above all other packers boards on the whole entire imterntz...
