Funny thing is I had to be the guy at the end of that video to a fellow friend and Packers fan when we went to the playoff game in AZ two years ago and they lost. He was blubbering in front of everybody as we were leaving the stadium. Then, a cards fan who felt bad said its all good and green bay was a great team that could win it all the next year, tried to shake my friends hand only to be told to F off. Hilarious. Then he called his mom and said it wasn't supposed to end like that as he staggered around the parking lot for 30 minutes while me and my girlfriend and other buddy tailgated.

I am about as diehard as they come but there is no way I would ever cry over a loss. There are just too many more important things in life than a football game.

To be fair, this friend of mine has some serious emotional issues and very very bad PTSD due to his experiences overseas. The alcohol he consumed didn't help either.

Yeh my guess is that was mainly not about football. Packer loss just triggered some unsavory ****. That sucks. How's he doing now?

He certainly puts emotion into things more than a normal sports fan. He's in great spirits usually, which is pretty cool considering the stuff he's seen and shown me.

The last time I cried after a sporting event was when SF beat GB in the playoffs with "The Catch part 2."
There's so many things to factor in there. I was already livid considering Jerry Rice fumbled and the game should have been over. At the time I despised T.O. This was the end of the Holmgren dynasty that should have been, and Reggie White's last game as a Packer, and the fact that it all ended so abruptly. Add in the fact that TO had a bunch of drops that game and it stings even more. All of that combined will forever make it worse than the Giants NFC title loss and 4thand 26.

I cried my fair share of times. Especially when Dallas would beat us in the playoffs.

And then my balls dropped.

I cried after the 07 NFCC, and then after the Pack won the SB. Both post ball-drop.

It's funny. When I was a kid, I think I was a huge baby about all of the stuff. I'd cry after some losses, I'd throw stuff around, it would ruin my week. I dunno, maybe that stopped when I was 8 or 9.

Up until we actually won the Super Bowl, I'd be uptight about things, but I wouldn't say ANYTHING during the game or really after it. Meanwhile, you've got guys like that.

I dunno, it's weird. I got that stuff out of my system before I was 10. On the same token, I hate watching games with (usually my family) where every yard is unreasonably crucial.

Such as, Kevin Smith picking up a 20 yard run in the 1st quarter yesterday with a 0-0 score.

As he crosses the line of scrimmage: "GET HIM GET HIM GET HIM"
10 yards down field: "OH MANNNN COME ON GET HIM TACKLE HIM"
20 yards: "THIS IS HORRIBLE LEARN TO TACKLE GUYS AGHGHHGHGHH"

It's brutal. I'm sure you guys watch with similar friends or family members.

Even if we're a bad team, it's like they expect the other team not to gain any yardage. Seriously, every positive play for the other team they do that. Same thing yelling "GO GO GO GO GO GO" when we're on offense picking up a 3 yard play.

I assume Walden won't be playing in this game?

This game will be a circus. The 11-0 SB champs coming to the Big Apple to face a team in a tight division race. Media will be going bananas.

I've never cried after a game. Silliest thing I've ever done was lay on my friend's hardwood floor for a half hour in stunned silence after the 4th and 26th game.

I take it back. I did cry after the Owl, because I had a friend who ha recently passed at way too young of an age, who was the biggest packer fan I knew and he was all I could think about the whole post game celebration. Still gets me teary eyed remembering it. May sound corny but sports can be such a cool thing in one's life when you take the negative aspects away.

Never cried after a game. I just get irrationally angry and/or depressed.

I cried after the Super Bowl last year too. I don't see any problem with that.

Last time I cried in defeat was 4th and 26. I was 15, so I think I get a pass for that one too.

Never cried after an NFL game. However I did cry when the Raptors lost to the 76ers in game 7. Was too young for the Blue Jays championships but probably would have cried after those if I was old enough.

I cry a little every time Jarrett Bush takes the field on defense.

According to Tom Silverstein:

- Sitton has a knee sprain. He is doubtful for NY but will be back this year, as it stands. It is a new injury that occurred on a run play yesterday

- Bishop and Hawk both have calf sprains. MM said 3 games in 11 days was likely a factor. Both have a chance to play at NY

- Starks is OK and was pulled when the Pack got up 21-0 to give him some extra rest

- Clifton won't play at NY. Not as ready as they thought he was. No timetable for return yet


This would be our most difficult task. Facing that run game without Hawk, Bishop, Walden and that Dline without Clifton/Sitton.
