I love noon games.
But this almost seems like a lock to happen if the Packers are still undefeated.

Question for someone in the know. I have tickets for week 17. As of now it's a noon start. What are the chances that game is flexed?

CBS has the national doubleheader game that day and it was suppose to be Buffalo @ San Diego so yeah I was expecting our game to move. CBS also has the DH game the next week so GB at KC will stay at noon, no reason for Fox to move it. If 15-0 I would imagine the Detroit game will get moved late. There are no SNF games the last week.

I would guess if any game gets flexed it would be the Giants and Cowboys. That game could very well decide the division and it's two huge markets that both get good ratings. Depending on what McCarthy decides the Packers could be playing backups in week 17.

Packers are now 1.6-1 odds on winning the Owl.
Saints and Niners are 7.5-1.
Pats are 4-1. Baltimore is 9-1.
I'd jump all over the Ravens if I were a betting man.

How about the Chiefs game? I'm planning to go with a friend and I think we are assuming we can drive back 4 PM to 10 PM to Minneapolis.

The first Dallas-Giants game will already be on SNF in a couple of weeks, meaning that the second matchup can't be on during primetime.

We had this discussion last year and there is technically no rule against it, but I have almost never seen it happen. I thought that a rule existed but I believe it does not.
I've still never seen it happen.

I'm guessing the Chiefs game is going to stay at noon because CBS has the doubleheader that week as well.

There will be a Sunday night game week 17,NBC/NFL just keeps the slot open until the last minute so they can pick the best possible match up.
Also, unless they changed it both CBS & Fox are allowed to have double headers week 17.It's the one week all season the league allows both networks to have double headers.
It would be interesting if Lions@Packers got flexed to Sunday night on NBC because we play week 16 on NBC,could be back to back NBC Sunday night games to end the season.
My guess is our game with the Lions gets moved to 3:15 and NBC takes a game with playoff implications.Unless we are going into the game 15-0 and the Lions need a win to clinch a wild card.

I'm not going, but even if i was i always preferred the 3:15 start times over noon games. It's nice to not have to get up all early and besides that, football crowds for whatever reason tend to get more into the games as it gets darker out.
Plus, as the fan of an 11-0 team that could be 12-0 for the Raiders game, i find it a good thing that the Packers get all these higher profile game times. It's nice being a team that networks want to put out there in prime viewing slots instead of a team nobody cares about seeing play.

That would be pretty damn entertaining. Especially with Suh coming back, and all the other storylines.
