Packers-Chiefs press box notes

*Green Bay will be aiming to become just the fourth team in NFL history to start a season 14-0 (1972 Miami Dolphins, 2007 New England Patriots, 2009 Indianapolis Colts).

*With one more TD pass, Aaron Rodgers will become just the fifth quarterback in NFL history to throw 40-plus TD passes in a season, joining Dan Marino (1984 and 1986), Kurt Warner (1999), Peyton Manning (2004) and Tom Brady (2007)

*WR Donald Driver – Is 28 yards shy of the 10,000-yard receiving mark for his career. Would be the 36th player in NFL history to register 10,000 receiving yards

*WR Jordy Nelson – Needs 43 yards receiving for his first 1,000-yard season.

*CB Charles Woodson – Needs one interception to tie S LeRoy Butler (38 INTs) for the No. 4 spot in franchise history.

Can't find the article but I believe the Sporting News had this game as our only loss.

What happened to Palko. Wouldn't mind a reinjury of Orton's finger so we can have some Matty Ice time very early

He sucks so they're going with Orton and Stanzi if needed.

Hope we have this one in hand early because I have to coach my 8th grade basketball team at 3.

Jordecai probably won't be able to get open as much against their #1, so Rodg should target him less, outside of an occasional deep ball when there is no safety help.

It'll be a similar situation if their #2 covers Driver. He's enjoyed a resurgence thanks in large part to being covered by safeties and nickle backs.

Rodgers should target Jones and Cobb a lot today if they are the ones who will be covered by inferior nickle backs and safeties. That's where a match-up advantage will still exist. Finley should also be a large part of the gameplan if they try to mark him with one of their backers.

#Packers enter stadium and all I can hear is cheering, no booing. Arrowhead is loaded with green and gold fans today.

He should be risking injury as long as the franchise is playing. Protecting Rodgers is the paramount objective the rest of the regular season. They can rest Sitton in the next couple weeks once the team has secured homefield and Aaron will hopefully be removed from games early.

We're just playing prevent defense, allowing KC to pick up yards.

When we have 2 INTs today, will you say we are just lucky?
