I love that we are going to have some new faces on the DL. Raji, Pickett, Neal, Worthy, Daniels could be decent rotation if everyone stays healthy. Then we still have Wilson, Wynn, or Greene potentially.

Edit: And Guy too!

I like this guy more than the S... because he seems like another DE that can get after the passer.

But the safety also seems like an athletic freak.

posted under wrong thread....only Raji and Pickett could be back from last year, although Guy may have a shot. Daniels is a guy who can collapse the pocket, that is definitely a need.

Looked like he had some real good highlights. He had quite a few sacks for a DT. Fought through injuries all year and still played which shows he has good toughness.

Tyler Dunne
Daniels played through two sprained ankles and a torn labrum in his shoulder last year at Iowa. Needed off-season shoulder surgery. Finished season strong and has a lot of athleticism (36 1/2-inch vertical leap)

So Mike Neal, except he's not a pussy. Nice.

Capers: "Mike Daniels was a guy we were looking at last year (when scouting other Iowa DL) Good motor. Plays hard all the time."

Talk about fast. DT Daniels ran the 40 at 4.86 at 292 pounds and McMillian ran the 40 in 4.36 at 5-11

I love taking Iowa linemen because they usually make an impact immediately. I would have killed for Adrian Clayborn last year in the draft.

Daniels is slippery interior rusher, quick hands/feet. Got bulldoged backwards a lot, lacks anchor strength and pad level. Medical flags, missed Combine because of it. Pass rushing sub at RDE if he can stay on field, had lots of conditioning and stamina issues and it cut into his PT at Iowa.
It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game
