I like it a lot.

Definitely a move they needed to make. Starks looks horrendous and is always injured. Hopefully he can instill a bit of a life in an otherwise useless running game.

TT doesn't usually make moves like this, but I think it's a fantastic idea. I have faith in Rodgers and co. to keep him in line.

Ceddy Ced's numbers haven't exactly been fantastic. His ypc numbers aren't thrilling and he's had fumble issues. But he'll push Starks. I don't know why they wouldn't bring back Ryan, though. They must have some beef with the guy.

Good move. Maybe this will wake Starks up.

I like it. I know Benson isn't phenomenal but at least he should do well in the redzone. Don't know if he really is a delay handoff type, but he could do well considering that no one is really going to stack the box against us. That's barring us keeping him around. Good small move.

You have to take into account that he's a power back. They sacrifice ypc for consistency. And the #1 most important role for a Packer running back is converting on and short situations. That killed us without Starks when he was injured the last season. We couldn't keep drives alive that we should have, were prompted to telegraph throws, and put our franchise QB in more danger than required. I like the move because Benson is insurance in case Starks is injured or has an off day like against the Bears last year.

Don't like it, think there are better, younger guys out there. But . . .

Hes decent. If anything he should be better than Kuhn on turd and short.

Not sexy but he's a workhorse and should be able to get tough yards. He's got a pretty amazing opportunity to play on a contending team with a QB like Rodgers so this is his big chance, hopefully he doesn't blow it.
