Obviously Dont know the money yet but I trust TT. Nice to have Sitton, Lang, and Bulaga as the future of the line. :D
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Good stuff, we certainly can't afford to let any capable linemen get away.

So we have:

Newhouse: through 2013
Bulaga: through 2014
Sitton: through 2016
Lang: through 2016
Sherrod: through 2015

Just need a long-term C and we're looking good on the OL, assuming Sherrod can play.

Yup.

It'd be nice if next year we could land a quality C prospect in the draft and maybe grab a decent back-up C/G prospect in the draft/via free agency.

Sherrod is the big question mark. Missing camp is huge.

Down to 1 free agent to be, Jennings.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Is it possible for us to keep all of Matthews, Raji and Jennings? Because Jennings (as great as he is) is definitely number three on that list of guys when it comes to resigning them, IMO.

I think there are always ways to structure deals to keep guys you want. The big question is how much TT wants to invest in Jennings given the other talent we have at that position.

Or how much Jennings actually wants to be in Green Bay

I think he's going to want Fitz like money. I just wouldn't be willing to give him that.

I imagine the fates of Finley and Jennings are linked.

Yeah, if Finley steps up as a legit no. 1 receiving option then I think it'd be a lot easier to let Jennings walk.

Presumably so.

This year will probably determine quite a bit for Jennings.

There is potential that:

Cobbinance will have numerous moments in which he looks like the best WR on the team, not only from the slot, but split out wide as well. Wes Welker like potential?

DJ Williams blocks well enough to see PT and proves that he can carve out space and get open just as well in the regular season as he can in training camp

Finley finally gets over the dropsies.

James Jones continues to be James Jones. He has a handful of spectacular plays when he races by his man and catches a bomb, and, a handful of plays when he drops an easy one.

Jordecai looks and plays like the 1b to Greg Jennings 1a.

If 2-3+ of these things happen (coupled with Ted's ability to find quality WR's anywhere from early rounds to UDFA) it would likely spell the end of Greg Jennings pending his willingness to stay here on a cheaper deal.

Rampant speculation based on my own hunch - If GB cuts driver and retains Gurley (excited for his preseason debut), it suggests to me that the team is definitely leaning toward letting Jennings go barring a very team-oriented deal. If GB keeps 5 wr's with Driver being the 5th, it points more toward retaining Jennings.
You gotta make it sexy! Hips and nips, otherwise I'm not eating.

Nicely done, 5.2 flat across 4 years with a 5.5 million dollar signing bonus according to Nagler.

Saves us 1.1 million in cap space next year.

Now get Jennings done, begin negotiations with Clay and Raji for next year and we're good.

Seems right in line with what Sitton got (33/5 - 9m guaranteed), adjusting for player ability. Good deal for both sides.
