NFL Week 2

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Sun Sep 16, 2012 4:01 pm

Ravens/Eagles and Jets/Steelers about the only afternoon games that might be interesting. Niners/Lions tonight might be good.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

NFL pulls replacement ref from game

How about we just give the real guys a raise? We are approaching ludicrous speed here.

Riggle painfully unfunny again this week.

6 minutes left in the first quarter and Shady McCoy is picking up 4th & 1. A good reliable back can be so important.

lol Eli had an eligible O-lineman and Ahmad Bradshaw wide open in the endzone, throws it to the fat boy and he drops it.

First they said he was the backup tight end, then called him a backup tackle, if he's a tight end he is the heaviest in the league

Eh, Tate's skills are not discernibly better than anything Starks, Marc Tyler or Saine have, imo.

Is that Jones for Tate thing the same rumor that was going around in early June or is there more to it now?

I think Eli lives to defy analysis and logic. Is there any doubt that we all will reflect upon his career with nothing but complete bewilderment?

Can't help but lol at all of the reports of the Giants being booed at home. So much for Bill Simmons' five year grace period from fan criticism after winning a championship.

ETA - Just in case, there is no likelihood of a Tate/Jones swap taking place. In the unlikely event that GB/HOU were talking, those talks would have stopped the moment actual games started taking place.

Anyone watching NE/ARZ care to chime in on what is going on over there. Recall hearing quite a bit of talk about how improved the ARZ defense was, but didn't expect them to be holding NE to 6pts in a half.

Just from highlights, it looks like they are getting a lot of pressure on Brady. The one pick was a tipped ball that was grabbed one handed by Peterson. Great catch.

Also, Hernandez got injured and looks doubtful to come back.

Jared Allen, idiot.

Feels like 1-1 across the board for the North.

ETA - Thanks, BuckNation
