Week 3: Seahawks Lead-Up

This game won't be easy. Seattle is a tough place to play and they have a pretty damn solid defense. I think our defense will be able to cover their WR/TE in dominant fashion, but the offense is going to have to play a lot better than the first two weeks for this not to be a close game.

Seattle has the best homefield advantage in the league. Luckily, our team has historically risen to the occasion on the road.

Packers 1st in sacks (11) and sacks percentage (17.2%) through 2 games. Defensive stats don't mean a lot yet, but hopefully a good sign.

We're getting destroyed in the running game so far, 5.1 YPC allowed, which is 30th.

I think a huge key to this game is going to be stopping the run. If we allow them to bully us on the ground like the 49ers did, I think it will be a pretty close game. If we can do even a decent job of slowing them down on the ground, I think we should win by 10+ points.

i agree w eagle, 27-17 but i hope its not that close.

Gotta contain Lynch. That's the key.

This one is going to be close. We need to stop Marshawn Lynch, when they get him going it is very hard to stop their offense. Marshawn got going early in Dallas and it allowed Wilson to go 15/20 with 0 int's. Zach Miller has been hobbled with a foot, hopefully he isn't 100% come Monday because he is a pretty good TE. They don't have great receivers but Golden Tate and Sidney Rice aren't bad. They get decent pressure on the QB and have a very solid secondary. The Seahawks have also allowed under 50 yards rushing in both their games so far this year.

What a **** idiot. That makes me want to get rid of Finley. A dumb player with an even dumber agent. SMH

Umm, he had 10 carries for 22 yards in the 1st half. The big problem for Dallas was fumbling the opening kickoff giving the Seahawks the ball to start at the Dallas 29 and then having a punt blocked and returned for a touchdown. 10-0 lead 5 minutes into the game and their offense barely did anything.

Okay so he didn't get going early but my point was the Seahawks offense was flowing much better when Marshawn was running the ball well.

Key to this game is simple. Stop the rush! Forcing a rookie QB into obvious passing situations is what Dom and the defense want!

I was kind of thinking I didn't want Finley on this team anymore. This just set it in stone. Get this f'ing bum away from this organization.

Finley distanced himself from his agent's comments, and if I were J-Mike, I'd fire him over making those comments. You don't put your client in a bad situation like that.

That being said, I think it's unlikely that the agent didn't glean his perspective from Finley, even in an indirect way. And, I also think I'm getting to the point - though I'm not there yet - where I'm inclined to let Finley walk after he finishes this contract.
