Giants spanking Carolina. They're gonna have to throw now anyways, but I was wondering why Carolina ran basically every single first AND second down so far.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Cam take a similar path as Matt Ryan. Waaaay over hyped in his first couple of seasons. Comes back down to earth, then kind of bounces back and is considered to be in the 2nd echelon of QBs.

I heard on WSSP that the RedZone channel would still be part of some sports package, but NFL network would be free.
RedZone is the channel you really want.

Yeah, most cable companies offer RedZone at like a $7/month sports package or something. It used to be $4.99/month for Comcast, now I think it's $8.

NFLN already up here. So happy right now. RedZone just shows a number to call, no price.

I received an e-mail saying 5.95/mo for the sports tier.

Actually, that has existed, but now they tweaked it.

I didn't have NFL Network active, so I called them up. They said for NFL Network, I need the Digital Variety package (7.95/mo) and if I wanted NFL Redzone, I need to add the sports tier (5.95/mo). Does that sound right? I assumed NFL Network would be included in the sports tier but they told me no?

If you just have super duper basic cable, you probably wont have NFLN. It's way up in the cable tier (channel 1347). In order to get Red Zone you need to buy the "TWC Sports Pass", which includes ESPN Goal Line, YES, and some other stuff.

Bengals opening things up in style. They had a WR (Sanu) lined up as QB and threw it deep perfectly to AJ Green for a 60+ yd TD.
