Tim Jennings' injury also hurts them.

one of the seahawks' starting cb's will start a 4 game suspension this week. the other will probably start his the following week, after a probably unsuccessful appeal. that hurts their def a lot, losing browner and sherman. this week vs arizona, then buffalo, and their last 2 are vs sea and stl. and i'm thinking that sherman's 4th game would be the 1st playoff game, if they make it?

They would have been better just taking the suspension considering the low percentage of success. These suspensions now leak into the playoffs.

It's funny how much people are still obsessed with Favre.

Yeah, that's odd considering Andrew Luck has gotten considerably more attention and has been far worse.

Perhaps it has coincidental timing, but it seems as if every time I turn on the worldwide leader, they're talking about him.

But if it wasn't a coincidence and espn were talking about him constantly, what a travesty that would be right? I mean it's not like he's the most exciting nfl rookie qb ever that's also 4 games from completing what would be by a good margin the the most impressive rookie season statistically for a qb in nfl history...

Honestly, if u watch alot of espn I would think u would be happy that espn has latched on to an nfl figure that somewhat legitimately has earned being the primary target of their nfl coverage, that is as opposed to tebow for being a bible thumping virgin or Favre for wavering on his retirement every offseason. If u watch espn enough to know that they are focusing their hype machine on a certain player then u should probably be aware that's it's pretty much what they do constantly, most times much less deservingly...

I listen to nothing but sports radio all day and have espn playing at home while on my computer. I hear FAR more about RG3 then I do Luck.

ETA - I don't really care about either, was just sayin'

Manning tonight: 26/36 310 1td 1int

Pretty damn good but I'm happy with it as I feel he could've really busted the mvp race WIDE open with a gigantic game statistically against a terrible raider defense. The door is still open for Rodgers (or brady) to take the drivers seat this weekend with a huge game...

Edit: updated final stats

Yeah, Peyton isn't playing like an MVP tonight.

I recommend not paying attention to ESPN. I know it's hard, but it pays off.

Payton could've had two more picks tonight EASY if the raiders dbs could've kept their footing on this sh*tty soldier-field-like turf...

Stupid raiders playing for the win and kicking onsides and then calling timeouts. If manning gets a cheap stat padding passing td here I'm not gonna be happy...

Rodgers should be the MVP favorite right now, yet nobody in the national media mentions him.
