Tonight our boys have the chance to avenge last year’s one and done, wildly disappointing playoff showing, the week 1 defeat, and, well, the scorning of a young Aaron Rodgers.

When these teams last met, Jarrett Bush was the starting CB, Hayward was not much more than a preseason Kermit-Fap.png, Cedric Benson was getting into game shape, DuJuan Harris was selling vehicles, and David Akers was kicking 60yders. Time and time again, it has been said that the Vet qb’s eat up Caper’s scheme by being patient and attacking the Defense through the middle of the field. Smith did a masterful job of this in week 1 (notably abusing Nick Perry with Crabtree, holy mismatch!), but one wonders if Kaepernick has the savvy to do the same. While Gore looks to be running on half a tank, Harris has sprung new life into the offense, and by the reports of Dunne/McGinn, it sure sounds like Starks may be the the 1b/2a running back tonight.

Some say Driver has unfairly used the media to paint GB into a corner (leaking that he’d be willing to take a paycut, leaking that he’d play special teams rather than just keeping both sentiments in-house), and it looks like it has worked again. #80 will be suiting up. Congrats on the career, and if you do see the field, please prove that you were worth dressing.

Rejoice, Realgm faithful, for there likely will not be enough fans to get too much of a pronounced KKKUUUUUUHHHHHNNN chant going tonight.
Claymaker VS Justin Smith, Rodgers VS Kaepernick, … Akers VS Masonator.

Get.
