It is my sincere fear Capers will be the DC next season. Relatedly, it is my sincere fear that next season will be the season I have least looked forward to in some time.

Doubt he gets fired. But we're due for some healthy players on defense.

I voted not at all. The way they treated Crosby and stood by him makes me think they will stand by Capers and the only way Capers leaves is if he decides to leave.

Their D has choked off the playoff games 3 of the last 4 years. Someone has to be accountable for that. There is no doubt in my mind that they are more talented than to give up 600 yards, if they'd been properly prepared. We've been on the losing end 3 of the last 4 in games where our offense was superior to our opponents, at least talent-wise. I'm getting anxious by the year about McCarthy too. It isn't like he can adjust during the game either, and he is not a good in-game coach.

Guessing Packers take on Capers will be the following: the defense is a work in progress. Two seasons ago we were one of worst in NFL history, we are improving. Moved up to middle of the pack statistically this year. Not where we want to be but going in the right direction. Getting guys coming back from injury will be huge along with young guys continuing to develop. Lots of rookies this year who we expect to make a big jump in year 2.
Will mention Kaepernick being a "unique" talent but rest assured we will make adjustments next year.
Capers retained.

He won't be fired. Our only hope is that he retires. Which is doubtful.
