ATL Week 5
Bye bye Seahawks. Bears, Lions both lose. Hopefully Niners lose tonight.

Seattle just isn't terribly impressive imo. I know they're 4-1 but they barely beat Carolina and needed Matt Schaub to be a ret@rd to beat Houston.

Great week for us. Saints are looking very scary again though. A potential matchup in the dome in the playoffs is not something I would look forward to. We could hang with them but would probably need points on every single drive.

Always great to see the bears lose. Great week for GB so far. Would love a 9ers loss tonight. Houston should be motivated.
You gotta make it sexy! Hips and nips, otherwise I'm not eating.

The Cowboys hyperbole will be astronomically high if they pull off the upset.

Would you say the Packers weren't ''terribly impressive'' if they had beaten San Fran 29-3 and currently held a 4-1 record?

Twirl says he's not terribly impressed by Seattle,I am asking him if he would feel the same way about the Packers if the Packers had beaten San Fran 29-3 like Seattle did and currently held a 4-1 record like Seattle does at the moment.
And yes I understand we've played 4 games and Seattle has played 5 games,it's a hypothetical obviously.

He also brought up their games against other teams.
Perhaps you think they are tough and that we could "never" beat them in a playoff game.

He brought up Seattle.
So the 29-3 beat down Seattle put on San Fran never happened if Twirl doesn't bring it up?

It is one game. That is something you don't seem to be able to understand.

It's cute how you're sticking up for Twirl though...lol

I'm not sticking up for twirl. I'm making fun of your logic. His involvement is irrelevant.
Here is an excellent example of your (mis)understanding of the sport.

Your posts in that thread are indefensibly moronic..

But I guess since Chicago is beating everyone, them and Atlanta are about the only teams who have a chance to win the Super Bowl.
Like I said earlier in the week,I can see some of those teams improving as the season goes along unlike the Packers
And I say unlike the Packers because we lost today and lost the Bears game because of penalties (undisciplined) and bad coaching and simply not executing.
And those are things that have been bad trends with this team the last couple seasons.
I don't expect those trends to suddenly go away at any point this season.
If we were 3-2 but had played good clean football and simply got outplayed I wouldn't say that.If we got outplayed and got beat by the better team I would have more confidence in maybe getting better as a football team later in the season.
But we are beating ourselves and this has been a trend now.Trends don't just go away, you have to make changes (MM).

Re: ATL Week 5
In the GT I remarked how GB's offense makes everything look so hard. If the WRs don't make insane grabs or Rodgers doesn't make the perfect pass, the offense does nothing.
The Denver offense is the opposite of that.
