Francois is lost with an achilles tendon injury.

Perry and Neal's games are hopefully going to be springboards for the rest of their respective seasons. Burnett back was big. Lets get Hayward back and see what the D can do.

We completely dominated this game despite the final score.

Mike Neal and Nick Perry made a play or two. Eddie Lacy looked good back from his concussion, though I fear how MM manages snaps once Starks comes back.

So, SO good to have Burnett back there.

Great win, today. Feel like GB dominated more than the scoreboard indicated, particularly early on.

Perry and Neal were deff bright spots for the D.

Not going to get over excited about beating the Lions without Megatron but it's a game we should win and we won it so no complaints.

I agree about Perry and Neal. They've both been on the precipice of breaking out. They are both excellent at setting the edge against running plays. That has been huge in our run D. As rushers, Perry has an extremely impressive bull rush. He just needs to learn some counter moves off of that. The easiest thing to do is build moves off of an already very strong bull rush. The same is also very true for Neal, though he is ahead of Perry in terms of using his hands for counter moves.

I really expect both to become much better as pass rushers as the season progresses. They both have excellent tools to work with.

Inside, we've been giving snaps to Jones and he hasn't done much of anything. Daniels has been getting snaps inside, and he's been productive. If Jones doesn't improve on his production, he could be replaced.

We have a ton of options in our front 7 and we are still figuring things out. By the end of the year, I expect us to be extremely formidable.

I don't see why. Lacy was clearly ahead of Starks before Lacy got hurt. MM has always gotten on Starks for how he practices and how he is not always available on game day. He has also gotten on him for his very poor pass blocking.

If Lacy is healthy, Starks is going to be very hard pressed to get any snaps. That is especially true considering how Franklin played against Cincy.

Once Kuhn is back, I think Starks could very well be inactive with Lacy and Franklin as the HBs and Kuhn as the FB.

I noticed the pre-season that the team was leaving too many red-zone points on the field, and it has carried over to the regular season so far. I hope this gets better.

Crosby is a different guy from last year. He better keep it up.

Agree with the already mentioned points about Neal, Perry, and Burnett. Neal was especially beastly today.

Meh. We've been extremely elite in the redzone under MM. What happened in the preseason is irrelevant.

How many times did our #1 offense even get into the redzone in the preseason?

IMO AJ had one hell of a game. I think this defense is completely underrated and can't wait to see what happens when casey comes back.

I don't care that it happened in the pre-season. I just noticed it then. I do care that it has happened 2 weeks in a row in the regular season. I don't expect it to keep up, but this is a post game thread so I thought I would post my observation from the game.

I think we're going to blow the ravens out next week. They one WR target in Smith who's not elite and Rice has had a pedestrian year. Perfect game for Rodgers to get his **** together

I only made the reply because the preseason is so irrelevant. We've been excellent in the redzone basically every year under MM.

It isn't a concern. What happened in the redzone during the preseason is irrelevant since our #1 offense barely even played. Even when AR was on the field, his top WRs were not since Jordy and Cobb barely played in the PS.

Nothing has carried over from the PS.

Just got done reading through the game thread. Some thoughts...

-Rilamann is clueless

-Defense played great, granted Megatron was missing.

-Refs got the James Jones TD Call right. He didn't get two feet down, doesn't matter if he breaks the plane. Was suprised by people not agreeing with that call. i was laughing at Moose for not knowing the rules.

-Crosby is back. Thank goodness Ted and MM had patience with him.

-Lacy looked hesitant finishing off plays. Franklin needs to hold onto the damn ball.

-Our WR were awesome as usual

-Didn't notice the Oline much, which is a good thing

I don't care who gets the hand-offs unless it's Kuhn. They all have looked great.

With Francois gone, who do we get to fill in at backup MLB? Lattimore is there but Jones is also injured.

It was embarrassing that the announcers didn't know the rule but I still believe it was a blown call. Not because of the absurd explanation Moose or whoever gave but because Jones actually did get two feet in:



Still clearly has the toe of the right foot down with the ball in his possession then the left foot comes down in bounds before the foot they were concentrating on finally stepped out.
