Honestly, if Rodgers is out for a month, just tank the season. It's going to be a bitch to even get in at this point knowing Rodgers is out at least a couple more weeks. Just make sure he's fully healed and then if needed, bring him back for the Bears game if there's still playoff implications for them.

Detroit will win the division. I think we're still in the wild card hunt and the SF vs, CAR game is pretty huge.

HOWEVER, I just don't see how they can win the next couple weeks. Yes, the Giants have their issues but they seem to be coming together a little, the Vikings game will be tougher if Cassell is in, and the Lions will undoubtedly feast on this joke of a secondary.

I think Rodgers is out till the ATL game tbh... 3 more losses and best case is 9-7... which will not get it done..

Can't give up 200 yards rushing.

Defense couldn't stop the rush and gave up too many big passing plays.

Tolzien looks like he could be serviceable, will be interesting to see what happens with Flynn now.

Obviously it is tough to win without an MVP caliber QB but the defense really needs to step up if we are going to do anything this year.

Season is clearly over. I just can't see this team making the playoffs at this point. They had to get this game and failed, miserably. Get a good draft pick, let Rodg heal, and come back next season strong. Sucks because we had a good shot at the Super Bowl this year.

If Wallace is out then you almost have to sign him just as a body who could go in instead of Kuhn.

Honestly if you give Tolzien a week of practice and our team is healthy outside of Rodgers I think we are still pretty good. I think Tolzien can be a legit backup QB.

But Rodgers being out, Harris being down, Cobb being out, our O-Line in shambles now... defensive linemen going down, LBs in and out, Clay playing with a club, Hayward being hurt again...

It's just too much to overcome.

The good thing that comes out of this is we get to see what Boykin and Bostick are made of. Boykin has looked like a replacement for Jones and Bostick could potentially be a good receiving TE. This means we could let Jones and Finley go without paying either of them big money.

Tramon appears to be at the end of the line. If he continues his downward spiral I would get rid of him and just give his money to Shields next year.

Mike Daniels looked very good again today. Hayward was Hayward before he got hurt. Boykin played very well.

I thought Crosby let us down, Nelson dropped a ball he easily should have caught, Tolzien made a couple bad decisions that really cost us, Tramon was downright terrible and I think the refs kind of let their CBs get away with murder in this game.

We might of lost this game even with Rodgers, if the defense plays like that.

And McCarthy sucks with all those 3rd and shorts cutting Tolzien lose. 44 passes, 30 rushes. It's like his gameplan changed not at all having Tolzien instead of Rodgers.

Worst run/pass ratio since the first three games of the year. Makes perfect sense with a guy with so much NFL experience at QB.

They were losing and the Eagles were stacking the box not respecting the pass. Sure you could run, but you're just setting yourself up for 3rd and long in that case.

Some of that is the case, yes. Plus the line shuffling didn't help. But no need to go to that ratio even down 17-3, and it resulted in a key interception.

And the 3rd and shorts simply sucked. A pass once or twice to vary it, sure. When you've been gashing them on the ground, generally no.

Anyone defending those pass choices is out of their mind. Crap, the only successful one Taylor almost fumbled.

I sort of expected more passing, but I wish MM would pass more on the early downs and run down on 2nd and 3rd and short situations. He seems to be doing the opposite right now.

The Giants are also horrible this season defensively so perhaps we will have similar success yardage wise.

I'm not going to expect us to make the playoffs so if we do it will be a pleasant surprise. Assuming we miss out on the playoffs, hopefully TT can take advantage of a rare opportunity to draft from the front/middle of the draft order.

I agree.

I mean, I get his MO. He takes shots on 3rd and short at the other team's end zone. But he may want to modify that just A LITTLE with a third string QB with no experience. Or hardly any reps. Ever.

Awesome. He made some bad throws today but coming off the practice squad this week and right into the fire and still playing as well as possible without first team reps is a good sign.

Tolzien is a servicible guy. Accurate arm. The game was moving a bit fast for him today which lead to some poor decisions. My concern is that the OL will be decimated and we'll lose the ability to rush the ball. That will kill Tolzien.

Also, Newhouse is bad at football.

I do like getting a look at Tolzien, so we'll know if he's worth being the backup next year.

If you say you're a SB contender, you can't dick around at backup like we did this year.
