Anyone watching SNF?
How does Triplett have a job?

I don't think there is a worse ref out there. If you call that a first down, you stick with the call right or wrong.

Also, the refs ran in past the line (looked like a good spot). They toss to the middle guy and he sets it back behind the line.
Could be off base here, but did we see another Al Michaels gambling reference, or was he just that appalled by that exchange? Many times we've seen him admit to his degenerate gambling, I wonder if he had the over. He was angry.

And once again Triplett messed up yesterday.

Triplette's explanation of the Law Firm play.

So basically Triplette is saying... "I ignored where the tackle actually occurred and only focused on the area after he already hit the turf."
It's one thing if the call on the field had been a TD, but to over-turn a call like that is insane.

Wow, that's incredibly bizarre, it's almost as though Triplette doesn't understand the rules regarding what makes a ball carrier "down". That's a complete embarrassement, Jesus.

The only possible justification is that the original call on the field had the contact occurring after BJGE had tripped and was already on the ground. However, Indy's NT is the one who tripped him up in the backfield. So basically he overturned the call on the field and didn't think there was evidence of BJGE being tripped. What a mess.

Holy crap. Really? He overturned the call on the field? I didn't watch any of that game do that's why I don't really know anything about the play in question but that seems worse than just incompetence to not even look at the full play upon reviewing the play on video. Did Triplette have money on the Browns? lol

Yeah the fact that it was overturned is what made it unbelievable. The announcers didn't even bother acknowledging the possibility of a reversal because there seemed to be no evidence period, much less indisputable evidence. Even Bengals fans were in disbelief that the call went in their favor.
Should be interesting to see if/how Triplette is downgraded. It would be two weeks in a row if I'm not mistaken along with a host of other bad calls.
