I think I would like to see Keith McGill or Christian Jones in the 4th round tomorrow.

I totally agree about McGill and desir - think they'll be gone early tomorrow - would have taken at 98
CJones would be alright though I prefer bullough at ILB

Isn't Bullough slow and troubled?

I'd be surprised if there isn't a trade to get a couple extra picks

Not gonna lie after the good 1st round & the okay 2nd round (rated Jean-Baptiste/Latimer higher then Adams, but still feel like they know their WR prospects (especially 2nd round)), i am really dissapointed with the 3rd round (i know a lot of the best prospects were taken right in front of our noses but still, there were better options then Thornton & Rodgers). Now i hope rds 4-7 go back up to a high, with the some of the following prospects:
WR: M. Bryant - M. Davis - J. Janis - J. Abbrederis
CB: K. McGill - P. Desir - A. Colvin - A. Exum - W. Aikens - M. Roberson - E. Gaines - L. Purifoy
S: D. Bailey - K. Ladler - T. Boston - M. Huff
OL: C. Richardson - A. Richardson - S. Henderson - G. Ikard
LB: Y. Smallwood - J. Tripp - J. Zumwalt - K. PierreLouis - S. Skov
DL: K. Quarles - S. Stephen - D. Coleman - B. Urban

That was a good synopsis of the draft so far. I feel mildy disappointed but what do I know? Dix and Adams were OK but under-whelming picks. Sucks so much that Beckman and Niklas got taken right before us. I would have liked both much better than what we got. Then Thornton over Quarles and Jones - Rodgers over Lynch - really? It doesn't help that TT has sucked so far with DL except for Daniels. In every case I would have rather traded down. The 2 up sides that give me hope are TT's great success w/ WRs and that Dix is liked by many, Round 3? At least 1 of our two 3rd rd picks better prove to be very good or TT's draft reputation will be questioned.

Isn't Bullough slow and troubled?

He's a shade faster than Skov, Zumwalt, Smallwood...and is basically same size

Strengths Terrific football intelligence. Keys and diagnoses quickly, understands run fits and spills willingly. Physical -- good take-on/tackle strengh between the tackles. Pursues hard. Good tackler when he's able to square up ball carriers. Two-year captain with outstanding football character. Leads vocally and by example. Football is in his blood and approaches the game accordingly. His 30 bench-press reps were tied for most among linebackers at the combine.

Weaknesses Average athlete. Not explosive. Tight hips (exposed in space). Limited foot speed, lateral agility and range. Can be late to the perimeter. Struggles in man coverage and is stiff dropping/turning in coverage. Non-explosive athlete: His 31-inch vertical and 9-foot, 3-inch broad jump were among the worst posted by linebackers at the combine.

Draft Projection Rounds 4-5

Bottom Line Big, tough, experienced, durable, competitive Mike linebacker who was a heart-and-soul type for the stingiest defense in college football. Like a coach on the field, Bullough is a throwback talent whose instincts and technique will have to compensate for athletic limitations for him to win a starting role.

Not a fan of being out of town during the draft. But from what I have seen I like the Dix and Adams picks. Adams in particular looks like he was a man amongst boys in college.

Don't know much about the third round guys. The TE seems like he has a pretty big upside. I think he and Bostick could potentially be a great pairing receiving wise.

The defensive lineman I haven't got to see yet. Sounds like he can eat up double teams though, so that's definitely a positive attribute.

The 3rd rounders do seem like they are 'reaches' based on most mock drafts and pre-draft rankings... But who knows.

It's so hard to judge drafts as they happen.

Heck 2 yrs ago I loved the worthy pick and hated the Daniels pick. I didn't really like the hyde pick last yr. I figured datone Jones would be an impact rookie. I remember a bunch people last yr saying Franklin was better than lacey. I don't remember anyone being excited about the baktari pick last yr but it turned out to be a steal.

My point is we just don't know how these guys will pan out.

Totally forgot about Michael Sam. Surprised it took this long for them to talk about him.

I expect they draft a couple olinemen, a speedy WR with return ability, and an ilb at some point today.

Yep, my initial reaction is that I loved Clinton-Dix, didn't know the Adams guy but after reading/watching video he could be a steal and I'm underwhelmed by the 3rd round, but until we see them playing it is impossible to say for sure.

Random pointless question but where do you think baktari goes if they redrafted 2013? My guess would be late 1st/early 2nd. I think he'd be viewed as a solid guy but maybe not the top end potential to get in the top 20.

This is exactly how I feel...really liked the first two picks, pretty underwhelmed with the next two. We will see what the next round brings. Would love Desir but he won't be there and even if he was we'll never take him.

It's an important day for Thompson. I'm a big TT fan but I have to say he has not done well rounds 5-7 recently. For a draft and develop approach you need to hit on a few of these late round guys.

Bills trade 2 future picks for bryce brown. I assume they are late picks but jeez with the Watkins deal they are going to be severely limited in 2015 draft. This is totally the case of a gm saying screw it if we're not good this yr I'm getting fired so who cares about the future mess.
