Bulaga is an above average RT when healthy. Neal is a solid pass rusher. Burnett has shown flashes and still might be something.

Starks has been very good when healthy. Quarless is a solid depth TE and CJ Wilson was a reasonable backup lineman.

Shields was obviously the best player out of this draft. Legit above average starting corner.

I might argue that this draft gets an A because almost every one of those players was or is productive.

Bulaga is hard to grade because he has been so injury prone but he certainly is the best T on the team when healthy.

Neal just might turn into a stud on this defense with the new elephant position.

Burnett was really good with Collins, struggled a bit when he had to take over a big leadership role. Played every defensive snap a couple years ago.

Quarless IMO was never really able to put it all together but he has shown flashes of being a really good player and certainly has the physical tools. Injuries haven't helped him either. I could be wrong but hasn't he turned into one of our best blocking TEs?

Newhouse isn't an ideal long term solution at the T position but is certainly a nice 3rd tackle to have when one goes down.

James Starks obviously continues to impress. Huge steal in the 6th round. Him and Lacy make one of the best 1-2 combos in the league and he just signed with us for CHEAP.

Hard to argue with a guy like CJ Wilson in the 7th round. Servicable guy you could plug in a Dline rotation and know he will hold his own.

Sam Shields was our best defensive back last season and Frank Zombo started for us in our Superbowl victory, even if it was because our team was extremely depleted and he wasn't that good.

A-

All but Neal have performed at the level or better than you'd expect for where they were drafted.

Plus, Shields was a gem unearthed in UDFA.

The lack of a player who is a real stud (IMO) keeps this draft from being a solid A, but it filled a number of holes, and provided depth.

I give this a solid A. We don't win a Super Bowl without Bulaga, Shields and Starks contributing as much as they did. Zombo also started the Super Bowl and had a sack in that game.

Hard to really criticize it too much when a lot of the draft picks immediately contributed to an Owl trophy in their first year. If Bulaga comes back and hits a high level of play this goes to an A+ for me. It is hard to hit on that many contributors in one draft.

A-. Pretty much every draft pick and two out of the three UDFAs has had significant playing time. Bulaga, Burnett, and Shields have become regular starters here, while Quarless, Starks, Wilson, and Zombo were significant contributors on a championship team. That doesn't even account for Newhouse, who is terrible but still had significant playing time due to injuries.

The only thing that keeps this from being an A or an A+ is the lack of stars. Shields comes the closest, but he's not there yet.

Gave it an A because every player has been at least useful, plus Shields is one of the top corners in the league and he didn't even cost us a draft pick. These types of drafts are the drafts that allow you to win the divison every year and go to the playoffs. Most teams only find about 2 or 3 useful players in the long term. A+ would have included a Rodgers or Clay type talent.

A- really solid draft. Could have even been better if not for injuries. Quarless was really starting to put it together before is knee injury. And while both Starks and bulaga have been good injuries have taken a toll on both of them.

It's pretty impressive and usual that every guy drafted is still in the nfl.

Shields would be a 1st round if they redid the draft. Looking back it's kind of shocking someone didn't draft him in the 7th round. He was super raw but you just don't find many guys with his speed/size combo.

Can't judge the draft by Shields lol. He wasn't even drafted. Shields was a awesome pick up though.

I gave the draft a F. Too harsh would change it to a D.

What a horrible draft. Bulaga so far has been a bad first round pick. Injured to much even though when he plays he is a solid starter. Not a stud or anything.

Not one above average starter in this draft class that gave you a couple season straight of reliable play.

I am not even going to respond to comments on my post because I will get ripped to shreds for my comments. Not one solid starter that is all I got to say. Injury's are part of the deal with players. If you cant stay on the field than your useless.

Translated: I'll make an asinine grade and I don't have to back it up or defend it because I know it is indefensible but I'll make it anyways.

By your definition about 20-25 teams every year get an F for their draft.

Just like Calvin Johnson is an 'F' level player.

I blocked Godgers like 6 months ago - best message board block ever.

I'd give this a B+ right now, with this year being a really pivotal year for the draft class.

If Bulaga rebounds and plays well, Neal plays even a little better than last year, and Burnett bounces back, this draft for me is an easy A, and is a big reason why we either make it to another super bowl, or don't.

4 starters (all above average, 1 star in Shields), and 2 nice role players - if TT can do this every year, we will continue to be a top 5 team in the NFL.

Also, you HAVE to count UDFA's - they sign these guys literally while the draft is still going on, so Shields should count

This isn't the most ridiculous post I've ever read on a sports message board, but it's up there.

yeah, pretty much. i would say B+ but that's so close to A- it's just a quibble. most of the players have turned into adequate-to-pretty good starters or backups, and pretty much everyone has been useful at some point. rare to see so few 'misses' in drafts---you expect nearly half the guys to flame out within three years. look at the dallas cowboys draft from 2009, 12 picks with noone remaining on the roster to this day, this draft looks like solid gold in comparison.

Well I wanna say A because shields is a top 5 corner in my mind who is still getting better. Burnett is a very solid safety who once he gets a competent safety next to him should be very good. Bulaga proven that he's a very good right tackle and should keep progressing.

If he's back full strength he could flirt with the pro bowl this year. Neal really kinda broke out last year, again lets see if he takes yet another step. If streaks stays healthy like last year he's starting quality and a hell of a #2. Quarless seems just like a good back up but with his horrible injury early I still feel like he can ascend. Jewhouse and wilson made slight contributions but glad they're gone. Lets say A- now with A+ potential..

I remember 4 years ago, I was THRILLED with Shields signing as an UDFA. He was a guy I wanted the Packers to draft and was stunned he wasn't picked... probably because he was so raw.

This draft class was a BIG reason why we won the Super Bowl. All of those guys made solid contributions that season (unfortunately Burnett got injured early and Peprah stepped up).
