ATL: Week 2

Miami, Buffalo, NYJ tied for first, New England in last. Miami and Buffalo meet up for first place.
Pitt/Baltimore is usually a good matchup but I don't think either team is all that good this year.
Division Games, Detroit at Carolina, don't know if Cam will be back. New England at Minnesota (hate it when 2 teams I hate play but GO PATS). Bears at SF (same thing, hate both teams, GO SF).

The NE/Minny game will be interesting. I think Minny is a crap team and NE will whip them. Then again NE looked pretty bad last week...

I like Mike Zimmer in Minnesota.

Zimmer seems like a great fit in Minny.

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) -- A law enforcement official says he sent a video of Ray Rice punching his then-fiancee to an NFL executive three months ago, while league officers have insisted they didn't see the violent images until this week.
http://sports.yahoo.com/news/ap-newsbre ... --nfl.htmlGoodell has to be out if this is true.

I never believed that they hadn't seen it personally.

Goodell is done. Good riddance.

Goodell would make a good politician. This reminds me of a really lazy political cover up.

It's becoming harder and harder for me to keep watching the NFL.

I can't lie, I will still watch.
But I would appreciate a new commissioner.

Yeah I'll still watch, but they are getting some pretty bad black eyes. Goodell's run as Commish has been anything but smooth.
As said above, I also like Zimmer in Minnesota. That seems like a good fit and they could be a sleeper team in the NFC. They have weapons on offense, a proven OC that can probably get Cassel to do the job, Patterson on special team, and if Zimmer coaches up the D you have a tough team to deal with each week.

Goodell was either trying to make this go away as quietly as possible and is covering it up.
Or he's a giant idiot.
Everybody knew what happened and thought the 2 games was a light suspension BEFORE the whole video actually got released. Also, now there's a bunch of reports about loosening the drug restrictions.
That's a lot of back-peddling!

Not me. Just because Goodell screwed up doesn't mean it will make me like the NFL less. It's his bed to lie in if he's not telling the truth.

Yep.

I still watch the NBA and I believe Stern was way worse. Stern threatened the integrity of the game. Goodell was a bad detective/judge, which I honestly don't think the NFL commissioner should have the authority to do. I would rather it be up to the real authorities on punishment and then up to the individual teams on whether they want to employee horrible human beings. In NE, they didn't need Goodell to ban Hernandez.

I can't really think of any scenario in which I'd stop watching the NFL.

Definitely won't stop watching, but I'd love it if it cost Goodell his job.
