Jairus Byrd goes to IR. Sucks for them since they cut several guys just to get him on the roster.

We play them in a few weeks. New Orleans is probably just as tough of a place to play as Seattle but their defense is definitely vulnerable. Even with Byrd, their secondary was horrendous this year.

New Orleans isn't a good football team right now. Will they be when we play them in 3 weeks? Maybe, but everyone seems to be overrating them and giving them the benefit of the doubt simply based on their reputation.
I'm sure the offense will get back on track at some point, but their defense is pretty horrendous, and Byrd going out is a huge blow to that already weak secondary. I think, defensively, we match up pretty well with them as well. We have the pass rushers to get after Brees, the secondary to cover those fast receivers, and with New Orleans lacking a real strong running game, they'll be playing to our strengths.
I think you're already seeing the effects of losing Sproles on that offense.

That. Was. Awesome.
For those who weren't watching, the Bears were punting. The gunner got down and hit the returner before the ball got there. The ball was loose and rolled through a bunch of players. The returner sees the ball squirt loose, picks it up and runs untouched down the sideline for a TD.

Carolina's offense is awful. I realize that by saying this they'll put up 50 on us.

Missing all 3 of their running backs hurts

Hopefully, carolina scores here. Could be a demoralizing loss for the bears if they lose this week.

Panther TD before the half would be great.

Hopefully CHI is demoralized to only be up 7 after getting 3 turnovers.

Nice finish to the half for the Panthers. Hopefully same ol' Jay will show up in the second half.

Saints up 13-3 at home, now trail 24-13 to the Bucs. Wow.

The old wait to see if the ball goes in before calling a foul special.
