Offense and defense both had their best games. Hopefully a win next week against a terrible New Orleans team

Saints are different at home though. That's gonna be a challenge.

Plus, Brees will get all the calls when he whines.

It's amazing that we're 5-2 and barely in the playoffs as of right now.

The good news is Detroit has to go to London next week. The bad news is they get to play the Falcons.

Defense is making strides. While the Panthers are a mess defensively lately, they have not struggled scoring. We shut them down. Clay finally woke up. Peppers got after it. Clinton Dix continues to make plays against the run. Our secondary is just ridiculous in coverage. Maybe it is coming together. I would have to see us against a team that will grind on us in the running game.

Extremely happy with the team the past two weeks. Been extremely encouraged with improving DL, OL and ILB play. Also the playcalling on offense has been tons better, with some improvement by the young guys on offense as well.

This league is wide open. Really would love to add a piece, preferably on the DL, before the deadline, but know it won't happen.

Very encouraged. Saints won't be easy, but they aren't the same minus Byrd on defense. Should be three point favorites or so.

I don't think you are very likely to find a team looking to part with a starting quality DL player for anything less than a 2nd round pick, and I think Thompson would spit directly on anyone asking for more than a 4th.

We have the highest PPG differential in the NFC after today. We started the season slow but as of right now this is a really damn good team.

Getting a lead really helps with the Packers, with its multiple pass-rushers and solid secondary.

Still on very iffy ground against hard running and run-option teams though. We'll see.

Oh I know. I just can hope. DLine play has been much better, at least anyway.

EDIT--Most of the 3-4 teams are playoff contenders it seems as well...

Yeah, this is the most optimistic I've been about the team's Super Bowl chances since they actually won it. During the 15-1 season even you had to think in the back of your mind it was a house of cards, not being able to stop anybody. You can't outscore everybody, especially in the playoffs where you'll see mostly balanced offense/defense teams. This year we've scored well still, but often didn't need to because the opponent was being held down also. And it's not primarily via takeaways, although that's coming too. It's happening in ways that are more consistent like pressure and stands in short yardage situations. We're finally not getting f'ed up at the LOS. Maybe this season or next could be Aaron's 2nd title, and the supporting casts wouldn't have largely wasted his prime for him and Packers' fans.

I will say this, Jollay, if we are going to make a 2nd rounder for a pro bowler trade... this is the year to do it. Go out and get a star defensive tackle and push the chips to the center of the table. Our legitimate needs as a team are pretty small. I would say we have need for D-Line, MLB, and TE right now. I think we could afford to go all in.

Maybe the best all around game I've seen the Packers play against a decent team since they destroyed the Falcons in the divisional round of the Super Bowl year.

Awesome performance by everyone.

I'm going to eat some crow on the Seahawks. I felt they were odds on favorites to repeat, but they look like a mess. They are moving backward right now and we're moving forward. A lot to be optimistic about.

Every year that Rodgers is our QB from now untill he retires people will be saying this is the year to push the chips intonthe center of the table. You dont do that when u still got the better part of a decade left with the best QB going. You hurt yourself in terms of contending 3 years from now and further if you go with that mentality.

Theres still a few holes on this team. Coverage at the LB spots, some more beef at NT, and a pass catching TE along with continueing to hope Adams continues to improve....

If these are our biggest problems we're sitting damn pretty come playoff time. Every team has flaws in the NFL. Its more about putting yourself in position torwards the end of the season to get a little hot and make a push. People that would be willing to trade a 2nd to only slightly improve this year will be the ones complaining in 3 years when we dont have the talent to contend.

Yes its about talent but the Packers allready have alot of that. Its more likely to come down to whether we get hot at the right time

On a brighter note I wanna hear from the people that were disapointed we ended up with Ha Ha instead of moving up a few spots and grabbing Pryor. I was touting him pre draft to my friends and gave my buddy a high five when we got him and he just continues to get better every week. Boy can play....

Common you know who you are...lol... Just eat a little crow.lol......

Just playin around and figured id mention how some felt that way

I'll admit that I was completely enamored with CJ Mosley, and I still think he would have been a better draft pick for this team than C-Dix. However, we ended up with the best player on the board when the pick came up.
