Bears Lead-Up

Sooo.... Let's pretend we had a two week bye. Hopefully Shields, Lang, Burnett, Rodgers, and Datone are all okay and back this week. Burnett is extremely important in communication in the secondary, and Hyde just isn't fast and still has mental errors. Bears are in the midst of falling apart but a quick start can doom the Packers. The Pack need to score immediately and keep the pressure on the Bears.

See no reason the offense won't do what it did in Chicago, just need the defense to get some stops and Cutler will eventually Cutler before long.

Robert Mays of Grantland, a Bears fan, did a podcast with Clay this week. Check it out.

Sounds like everyone will be ready except Lang. Four of the next five at home. Must win/will win.

38-24 Packers.

Some predictions for the game:

Hopeing for Lang to be back soon but considering the Bears D theres no reason to think we shouldnt put up a ton of points.

Everyone else of note should be back and your going to see an immediate boost from D. Jones as I think hell be a big factor in making Cutler turn back into Cutler.

We will give up some points to this offence and while I do think we'll do a better job against Forte this time around Bennet is going to absolutely murder us again. Expect around 8 catchs and around 115 yards receiving for him.

Thinking Lacey goes for round 125 this week. But Starks finds the endzone instead this week. (Got nothin to back that up with but just a feeling)

Rodgers gets just shy of 300 yards passing to go with 3 TDs spread among Cobb, Nelson and just on a whim ill say R. Rodgers

450 in total offence. This Bears team has almost no chance to stop us.

We'll give up around 350 yards on D but we force 2 picks this week from my favorite Bears QB of all time

We got this game and should win convincingly. Like the 1st game itll be close in the 1st half but start pulling away in the 3rd

Sherrod didn't take his career seriously since he was drafted. :reporter:

That's a little bite of a shocker. Would have thought Gerhart to be cut not him.

What a complete bomb of a draft pick.

So who's our back up tackle?

Tretter is probably our backup tackle. I think we have him set up to be the backup at nearly every offensive line position.

Here is to hoping that Joe Thomas turns out to be the megasteal of the universe.

I figured he'd be starting guard this week if lang doesn't go

If there were another tackle injury, I think that Taylor would come in at guard and Tretter would shift to tackle. No way we dump Sherrod if we didn't have a real plan at tackle.

Agreed. The bears will get lots of yards I'm sure between Forte, their WR duo, and their TE, but with their nonexistent D my hope is we start to pull away with a lead and then Jay starts playing like the Jay Cutler we all know and love.

Time for some Jay Cutler Memes!

I don't go out of my way to make fun of NFL players...but for some reason...Jay Cutler is the exception.

It is my legitimate hope that Neal and Thomas are both on the 53 before season's end.
