There is a chance that Peterson plays while appealing. If not, should be an easy game.

even if he does play, he has not done anything with the vikings in 2.5 months and probably wont be too effective.

Have to take care of business and get a W. Lions have to play @NE so it is very likely that we're sitting alone in 1st place at the end of next Sunday assuming we beat Minnesota.

I don't think Peterson plays. Minnesota has to know that their playoff hopes are done and I don't see how bringing him back under these circumstances, with the surrounding media circus, would be anything but a distraction.

I think this is a game where Lacy can run for 100+ yards. Vikings have an underrated pass defense but there's no way they can stop our offense the way we're rolling. Get a lead and pound the ball with Lacy/Starks in that cold, outdoor stadium. Defense should shut down their O considering that the Bears were able to hold them to 13 points...

W 28-6

Packers are now the highest scoring team in the NFL at 33.0 ppg. I know we've been far better at home, but I just don't see how the Vikings keep up with us unless we have a turnover filled game. Vikings really don't have a home field advantage either, and I expect a lot of Packers fans to be in attendance.

I'm not worried about this game at all. Sure on any given Sunday odd things can happen which leads to very unexpected upsets, but i see the odds of that happening in this game to be really slim. Plus, Bridgewater isn't used to playing in really cold conditions, unlike Rodgers.

I bet Greg Jennings wishes he was still brainwashed by the Packers.

Greg's gotta be cut next year right? he'll be 32 and owed 11 million.

This is the second most important game of the rest of the season and this could be OUR DIVISION TITLE game!!

Why?? Well we could end up splitting with the lions week 17 and end up with the same record. Tiebreaker next is division record. We MUST be 5-1. No way can we afford to lose this week.

This game seems anticlimactic but its extremely important. The pats game is more hype and fun but reality is vikings game could be the division winning game.

I would think it's almost a certainty.

Lori Nickel has a really solid article up at JS about Rodgers and his career pro-longing health routines. I know many of you are interested in fitness (from the long Henson debates on the Bucks board). This is a good read:

http://www.jsonline.com/sports/packers/ ... 36681.html

Green Bay — Aaron Rodgers possesses NFL records, a Super Bowl ring and an MVP trophy. He's on fire this season, leading the Green Bay Packers to an NFL-best 33 points a game.

But he's always looking to evolve, as a person and as a quarterback, and by tweaking a few health and wellness habits in the last year, he said he feels so good he has convinced himself he can play well into his late 30s and even his 40s.

Hot yoga. Vitamins. Limits on caffeine. Sleep. Proper hydration and detoxifying juice cleanses. Living by the 80-20 rule — and cutting back on pizza. It all has helped Rodgers look ahead to his 31st birthday Dec. 2 feeling like he's in the best shape of his life with some of his best games ahead of him.

"If you're taking care of your body and getting the proper nutrition, and sleeping well, you're going to be fit to play," said offensive coordinator Tom Clements. "And you're going to maintain that fitness for years."

For Rodgers, getting to this good place with his wellness started with getting enough sleep.

"Sleeping in general has always been a little difficult for me," said Rodgers. A good night for him used to be about 61/2 hours. "I just have a hard time turning my mind off, I think."

He started using ZMA, a vitamin supplement that includes zinc, magnesium and aspartate that can act as a muscle relaxer. "The ZMA puts you in the deeper sleep — quicker," said Rodgers. The supplement also is used by athletes as a recovery aid.

PEDs, IMO.

I'd take him back.

I would too, but once Cobb's re-signed, there's really not going to be a place for him.

I wonder how long it will take opposing fans to jump to this conclusion. Something along the lines of "First Braun and now Rodgers!!!1!!". I know your kidding though.

Also hard to believe Rodgers is already going to be 31.

Vikings won the claim for Ben Tate. That sound you hear is 300K being lit on fire on a non-playoff team.

EDIT: I guess that means the ship has sailed on Adrian Peterson playing in purple ever again given they are picking up Tate's 2015 year probably.

I still think Tate's a decent back. Better than McKinnon or Asiata.

Maybe Asiata. Probably McKinnon for now but the offensive genius, Norv Turner, is barely getting the ball to McKinnon who is averaging 4.9 YPC. They're just going to waste touches for him.

Now, I guess if Peterson is gone next year, Tate with McKinnon as the change of pace guy is pretty decent (before Tate gets hurt).

Sometimes I'll have some Zima to put me in a deep sleep too.
