Demarco Murray looks to play with a broken hand.
RGIII is back as the Redskins starter. Would be nice for him to go back to 201 and beat the Eagles. So the Packers can clinch.

Yup.
http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/3608/jay-cutlerwonder if this is trestman trying to take emery out with him, or a combo decision. either way, it's ugly in chicago.

I hate this. I loved watching cutler failing.
Also he was chicagos main hope for beating the lions.

Yeah. Clausen isn't beating the Lions. Chances are Cutler wasn't either but Cutler has a better chance of beating the Lions than Clausen does.
Either way, LOL Cutler, LOL Bears.

i had no idea cutler was the highest paid offensive player in the league either. i would imagine he will be cut this offseason right? don't think anybody would trade for him given him contract

I could be wrong but Cutler has a weird contract where it would kill their cap if they cut him and that it is very unlikely.

They can't cut him next year, I think it's an insane cap hit. I think possibly the following year but it's still a big cap hit. I looked it up a couple months ago but forgot now.

It's close to a $20 million cap hit. His contract is guaranteed for the next two years. Their best bet is to find a team that is extremely starved for a QB to see if they'll take on that contract. Teams like Buffalo, the Jets, and St. Louis would make a lot of sense in that regard.
It is pretty funny to still see some Bears fans defending Cutler. That contract was a bad one when they initially re-signed him; now it just looks horrific.

Isn't it something were it is almost a rolling two year guarantee so even next year they would owe two years? Honestly, I didn't think the deal was horrible at the time if you ignored the mental issues, which have gotten worse. At the time, it looked like he could mature and was good enough to take his team deep in the playoffs. As a percentage of the cap, it is worth it to overpay a QB since there impact is so big. I just think the structure of the contract screwed them over since they are stuck and everyone knows it.

wow that's crazy. i still think cutler could possibly be successful if they brought in a coach that could control him like holmgren and favre. and then designed their offense through forte

The idiocy was in signing him to the deal in the first place. It ain't Jay's fault the Bears are idiots. Jay's just put up basically the exact same numbers percentage wise, he has over the past 3 years. He's just 1) been healthy, and 2) thrown the ball more.

KJ Wright and Avril both signing $28 million extensions. They already signed Sherman and Thomas to monster deals, and they still have to set aside enough for Russell's inevitable massive contract. Where the hell is Seattle finding all this money to spend?

Harvin being gone already (who I figured would have been cut by 2016 anyways) helps, even though we'll still have a lot of dead money in him next year. Mebane (who's on IR) will very likely be cut and Okung should be but I don't have a lot of hope we'll do it. I actually thought Avril would get 9 mill per year on the open market so I'm surprised at what we got him at. Wright got what I thought he would but I thought we would have to choose between him and Wagner.

Looks like Da Bears will have to send a decent pick along with Cutler in order for a team to take him off their hands.

Can someone refresh my memory? Do we want Philly to win or lose today?

This Philly game is going the way we want it to so far. They lose, we win tomorrow and at least clinch a playoff spot. Still want the division next week though.

I'm pretty sure we clinch a playoff spot if the Redskins hold on.
