ATL: Super Bowl (Seahawks vs. Patriots)

Post#1 » by Newz » Mon Jan 19, 2015 3:07 am

Just wanted to start this to say I think the Seahawks probably win, but I'll be rooting for that Pats.

Also, Andrew Luck showed he was the best QB in football today. 12/33, 126 yards, 0 TDs and 2 punts thrown. Impressive stuff.

This is the worst SB matchup I can ever recall. Either we have to hear about how Brady and BB are football gods if they win or SEA wins who maybe be the most unlikable team of the last 30? (without even mentioning being pumped full of PEDs) years and were gifted the game today.

Must be nice to be NE where they can play in such an awful conference that they are basically gifted AFC Title Game appearances for pretty much an entire decade.

I had Seattle winning the Super Bowl in September, so hopefully they win.

I'd hate to see Brady get that 4th ring.

It'll piss me off if SEA wins cause the Pack could put in work vs. them too.

But it is what it is...

Yep was wrong , Luck has a way to go.
ARods stats
19/34-178-1-2 1-12-0
is slightly better

PFW article:
No great quarterback gets less help from his teammates than Andrew Luck. It’s painful watching the Colts sometimes: Luck throws great passes and they get dropped. Luck is forced to run for his life and takes a beating behind a patchwork offensive line. The Colts’ defense fails to get stops. The Colts’ special teams makes major mistakes. It says something about how good Luck is that the Colts made it to the AFC Championship Game, because the rest of that roster is not very good. Compare the 53-player rosters of the four teams that played yesterday, and you’ll have to agree that the Colts have by far the least talent of the four. When Luck doesn’t play well — and he didn’t play well on Sunday in New England — the Colts get blown out.

Committed to going to friends house for the big game, otherwise I wouldn't watch the game

one positive is I won't be tempted to spend 3k on a ticket to the game... searching for a bright side lol think I'm gonna complete house projects the wife has wanted me to do all football season. Maybe hit some suns games and the golf tourney; anything but football.

I think New England wins pretty handily. Seattle is not last year's squad. Wilson is not a great QB and Sherman could very will be injured. I like Brady to Gronk all day.

Yeah, Gronk will have a field day. They have struggled with TE's all year.

John Fox and Vic Fangio in Chicago.

Really didn't want Vangio going to the Bears. But he won't have the talent of the 49ers with the Bears. He's basically a younger better version of Capers.

You think Doug Marrone overplayed his hand a little bit? Head coach of a decent Buffalo team to assistant head coach/offensive line coach of Jacksonville.

Yeah I don't know - dude got 4 mil to walk away, and if he helps turn around that o-line in JAX he'll be right back in line for a head coaching job next year.

Deflate gate is going to be interested - 11/12 balls underinflated? That doesn't happen on accident.

So what's the penalty here?

Assuming they find any other connection to this and Belicheck, I think you have to come down on the coach here.
