From what I've seen I don't really like him. Not overly productive or a good blocker. Doesn't get much separation so it's not the QB's fault per se for not finding him more. I wanted O'Leary earlier, or a guy like him, who could help us blocking in short yardage, then slip for the occasional open TD like Franks used to. I miss that s**t. This isn't that type of guy. I don't like the last two picks really, but they are late picks so expectations can't be high. I think this was a very good draft still.

I think that some of these guys that people are in love with are going to end up leaking into free agency and we have to be pretty high on the wish list of a lot of the linebacker prospects who won't get drafted.

I wanted a basketball player/TE... Unfortunately, we drafted a 2 instead of a 4.

Bern I don't see it either. Though this late some players ask to not be drafted. He's short not elite athletically and really portrays to be a third stringer. I honestly like Perillo as a prospect. Will still maintain Koyack trumps him significantly.

I know his 40 time is OK but he looks slow in his cut ups.

He is not the type of player you like. Will play better out of the backfield. You like those athletic freaks. I like guys like Owen Daniels. We both got screwed.

They have 3 of him, took a flyer on speed and athleticism, something they lack at TE.

I think that if you are really taking a flier on speed and athleticism that you take Rory Anderson. I don't see either side of this pick.

I really don't know any of these late guys, the Packers liked him for some reason, but we are also coming up on the time where GB really separates themselves from the rest, undrafted free agency, maybe some of these dudes will show up there.

Except this dude isn't that. He isn't athletic for a 4.65 guy. He is still as ****. Koyack ran 4.70.

Not liking this pick at all - this was just made to bring some competition in to one of your top 4 positions of need. Nothing I have seen or read sounds like he should have been drafted.

@Paulimig: The great folks at @PFF love new #Packers TE Kennard Backman. He had the No. 2 overall production grade among draft-eligible tight ends.
