Not a moralist and I'd bring him in, but is he even going to be eligible to play this year?

Game changing player. If we could help him get his head out of his ass, he would be the ultimate add.

A)This always happens with the pack since they do their due diligence on all open players.

B)Should I know this guy guy? As far I can tell no big name sports writer is following him.

C)He'd be a great fit, but theirs a reason he's a FA. If we got a commitment from Peppers or Shields that they'd take him under his wing, then theirs a chance you'd do it.

D)I'll repeat who is this guy that reported it?

E)Edit, isn't he suspended?

I squandered an asset? Then Hammond taught me well.

He will be suspended but the NFL is dragging it's ass to tell for how long. Could be a year since he's a repeat offender no one knows what King Goodell will decide.

Sounds like his problems are more about not being able to say no to the bottle and DUIs. GB less chance of getting in trouble with the nonexistent night scene.

These guys never heard of uber? Heck I'm sure the entire population of GB would be willing to give this guy a lift home to keep him out of trouble.

If it was anything but alcohol I'd say GB would be a good spot for him.

Koren Robinson got his act together with Green Bay, although he was never the same player.

Green Bay is probably the best possible situation for him, but that doesn't mean we should bring him in. Hypothetically, if he isn't going to miss the season and he signs a non-guaranteed deal, I might try him out.

It's the kind of "go for it" move that I'm OK with. Especially with Jordy out.

I see what you mean. But will he drink because he's in Green Bay, or will he not because there's no night life?

I guess it depends upon how deep his trigger is. If it's a scene / night life thing, this might be a good place. If he's drinking just to drink, being in Green Bay isn't going to help at all. He just needs help period.

No doubt the guy still has elite pass rushing ability, but he's just such a liability with his off the field issues that anything more than an un-guaranteed minimum contract wouldn't be worth the risk. You have to wonder how much immediate impact he'd have as well considering he's missed more than 50% of his games the last two seasons. He did only have 2 sacks in 7 games last year.

I know people think that our "culture" can turnaround a lot of these troubled talents, but odds are he's suspended for the entire year anyways. I think it's just a case of Ted doing his due diligence and keeping our options open.

I think Aldon's huge numbers were mostly a product of Justin's dominant play, but that doesn't mean Aldon wasn't a pretty good player and not worth having. His behavioral stuff is pretty far out there, to be kind.

He's a complete idiot, but I'd take a flyer on him. Even if he doesn't play this year, it's worth having him around for next year, especially with Peppers most likely being done after this year.

He's signing with the Raiders. The choice was down to them, Jags, Bucs and Rams.

Heh.
