Panthers Postgame - Worst 6-2 Packers team ever?

Post#1 » by FAH1223 » Sun Nov 8, 2015 9:01 pm

It feels like the season is over.

We know we won't beat a good team on the road in January.

We just lost the tie breaker for home field advantage most probably.

We still have to play the Cards at Arizona (frightening)

Minnesota is right there competing for the NFC Norris crown.

Crazy shid.

Matthew Stafford will have a career revival next week and Megatron will feast.

I said it in the game thread, I'll say it again here: This offense not only lost Nelson, it lost Eddie Lacy to too much gumbo in the off-season, and apparently lost it's only competent playcaller in MM.

Also - I can't believe this game isn't over yet......

Shocked at the interior O play, it wasn't guys getting beat it seemed to be confusion on who was assigned to who. Would've thought it was GB coming off the short week.

As I said in today's game thread, last year game 8 Saints whipped us by 21 and we finished the first half 5-3. This board was on suicide watch
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I'm weirdly optimistic right now, at least we showed some fight. That gives me some belief that we can right the ship next week. I hope we get another shot at Carolina in the playoffs, we can take them.

There have been worse 6-2 like the McDaniel's Broncos. However, we stink right now.

The only question is whether we are awful in general or only awful on the road

I'm really hoping the Offense can build on the last 20 minutes of the game, but I don't know how much of CAR prevent/simple cover 2 D let us kill them on the screen plays.

We need a coach that calls passing plays. We need to be getting the yards we are getting (or aren't getting) through the run via the short passing play. The run, run, pass, punt offense has to come to an end.

Ya the last one was brutal, took way to long to come out of the huddle.

I still can't understand why RR is lined up in the slot over Abby/Janis. Hopefully when Montgomery is healthy we'll never have to watch that.

Hopefully we don't have to see Nate Palmer on the field ever again.

I'm interested to read how Ryan did, really didn't see him screw up, so there's that.

If we don't beat the Lions into the ground the team has no balls.

He looked better than Palmer that's for sure.
