Dom Capers has made it simple.

Good, veteran QB? He'll pass for a ton of yards.

Oh and the offense... it is what it is.

Would it be better if the Pack backs in at the 5 seed and plays @ Washington?

Does it really matter? Even if they make it out of the wildcard round, they're going to get crushed in the divisional round.

We're not good. This year feels like such a monumental step back. Even in the past when we've struggled, I've still had hope that IF we get on track, can beat anyone. I have virtually no faith in us having another level in us anymore. Rodgers looks alarmingly average, we have zero playmakers.

How did we go from a team that honestly should have been in the super bowl last year and probably favored in it to a team that honestly shouldn't be in the playoffs? The only difference is jordy. I will never allow myself to believe Jordy Nelson is the difference between a super bowl favorite and this crap we are watching. What can it honestly be?

My only explanation is that Rodgers has honestly become an average qb this season with well below average wrs.

The whole offense regressed.

They needed Jordy taking the top off the defense to open up space for our slow receivers.

Rodgers took a step back.

The offensive line took a step back.

The play calling took about 10 steps back.

Lacy took about 50 steps back.

The difference isn't just Jordy. It is the fact that Davante Adams is also ****ing awful. We thought the drop off would be Jordy to a burgeoning receiver ready to take the lime light. Instead he passed of his position to a guy who can't catch the ball, always seems to be going half speed, and honestly barely looks like an NFL player. You can't replace a top 4 receiver in the league with a bottom 2 receiver in the league and expect it to go great.

Pretty much. I'd say Rodgers took more than 1 step back though.

Wonder how much Jordy being out effected him mentally. Really seemed to trust him, and looked like a friend. This year, Rodgers looks like he's sick of playing football

Are you telling me the last two INT's he threw aren't on him? You need to go look at those again if you think that.

The crap players will take this personally. The good players will go home to their super model wives and million dollar homes and not care. That's professional sports in a nutshell

We should have gone into halftime 7-10and worst case 3-10with the ball after their half. Instead we go in 0-17. Rodgers played bad and has all season. Give him a ton more weapons and is it easier for him? Of course, it's that way for every qb, but when your making damn near 25% of the cap that's hard to do.

Rodgers has played bad this season plain and simple. Is the reason we suck because of him? No, but he has been part of the problem. His attitude sucks too. Looked like he was annoyed at jones on the Int even though Rodgers threw an awful ball.

Cam newton is having an mvp year with Ginn as his best receiver. I can't name an active wide out on New England. Rodgers has been poop.

When Rodgers is mediocre this offense looks terrible. When the offense can't sustain drives the defense looks worse. Not holding my breath but Rodgers in Godgers mode can do some damage in the playoffs. He is the reigning MVP you think he could step up an have a few good games in a row :D

Just seems like somewhere around week 6 teams figured out how to stop this offense. Without Jordy, they realized that there is no big, splash-play threat, and they could just man everything and shift up. They figured out Adams is a bust, and that's that. Now Rodgers is forcing stuff, and of course it looks bad.

I guess my thing is why couldn't the offense adjust for the personnel? Payton Manning had prolific offenses the prior couple years without great ability to make deep passes. It makes my wonder if Rodgers is a one trick pony, or if the coaching staff is arrogant, or if the other personnel is incapable.
