Lol love it. I've done P90X several times and it works great.

I have no idea how a professional athlete can't stay in shape throughout the course of the season. With all of the strength & conditioning that should be going on and as long as you're on proper nutrition, there's no way you should balloon to the size that Lacy did this year.

Taking away all personal responsibility because obviously Lacy has none, it's probably the reason Gash got gashed. The assistant coaches need to be involved in the lives of their players if the players don't care themselves.

As has been stated before, Eddie Lacy doesn't seem to care that much about football. And it's pretty difficult to make someone care (unless they're in a contract year, which Lacy is). There are too many backs available every year for us to make this such a headache.

He should do it. You have to believe it would be much harder work than he put in last offseason.

I wonder if he got fat in the off-season but when the season came around he couldn't work it off due to injury. I know when I'm ailing the Dr says stay out of the gym, which gets me frustrated coz it stops me from getting in better shape.
Although I think that is a bit weak excuse as his nutrition and and work outs are monitored closely by guys making 6 figure salaries. Again maybe why gash is gone if he couldn't keep that fat **** under control.

He's had access to the staff and resources for 3 years and look what happened. A new approach, whether it's P90X/Tony Horton or something else, is certainly a viable option. BTW, the stud in overtime, Larry Fitzgerald, does P90X.

Sincerely hope Eddie comes back with a vengeance next year. It would be incredibly disappointing to go from a rising star his first two years to being off the team after next year barring a major turnaround. Wouldn't be the first guy to have happen in this league but still, love what he's done already as a Packer and hope he can perform up to his first two years in a contract year. If a contract year coming up can't motivate him to get into better shape this offseason, his career as a Packer and in this league could come to an abrupt end.
