Super Bowl 50 - Game Thread

Post#1 » by ReasonablySober » Sun Feb 7, 2016 6:16 pm

I came into this thing without a favorite, but in the last week I've decided I want the Broncos to absolutely bludgeon the Panthers. No one seems to be giving them much of a chance and I like dogs. Send the old man out with another Super Bowl.

Pretty basic menu. Old fashioneds, bloodies, screwdrivers, nachos, guac, pizza.

No favorite here in this game also but on the other side of the coin this is a rare SB where there's not a team I dislike and truly want to see lose so a good game is what I want to see.

That said I'm pulling for the Broncos for pretty much the same reasons as RS. Pull for the underdog and it would be a nice story to send Peyton out with a ring

I have a cousin who married a really annoying Broncos fan who seems to think every team in the league has a ton of bandwagon fans other than the Broncos, so for that reason, go Panthers.

Broncos fans have at least as many bandwagon fans as any other team due to Manning alone.

Having Peyton Manning's only Super Bowl win be against the Bears would be pretty sweet.

Not only do I not hate either team, I kind of like them. I'd probably lean Panthers because Cam is on my keeper team. Would love to see Peyton get another though so Eli doesn't end up with more.

Don't care of either way really.

2 great defenses going head to head which should be fun to watch. It will all come down to the QB's, Cam vs Manning. Whoever has a better game will more than likely win.

Last minute change of heart, i'm pulling for the broncos because of manning. Won' be devastated if they don't win but it would be great way for him to go out after the ups and downs of this year.

That was one of the best national anthems i've ever heard.

The broadcast I'm watching had no audio until the end.

Yeah she kinda nailed it. A little too much 'Christina vibrato' for me at times, but hard to argue otherwise.

I think the it's the correct call. When the ball is wedged between his hand and body and goes towards his knee there's a part of the ball you can't see if it's above the ground. IMO good call.

Huge drive on how Cam comes back from this, if he's rattled this could be a long day.

Seems pretty huge now. Could decide the game.
