Tennessee has three of the first 14 picks in the second. Could see them taking the risk on Jack.

Lots of good players there right now, but could see all the ones we want being gone by 57. Might be a trade up scenario. Want front 7 again unless some other position is just ridiculous value.

Gonna be a run on all the guys we want in the first 15 picks.

Probably RS but there's always talent to be had after the 1st round though and this year will be no different.

It's just a matter on whether we as fans have heard of the players much before their names are called after say the 2nd or 3rd rounds.

Don't think either Henry or Adams, the TE, are great value even in the second. Think Spence and Correa are both off the board. Wouldn't be upset with Cravens, reminds me a bit of Bucannon from Arizona, or another DL. Would definitely take Spriggs if he's there but I doubt he is.

I was surprised at who we had available in round 1 and there will be a few we will be surprised to see when we pick in round 2. I'm guessing LB but that's far from a lock.

How likely is it that TT cuts loose some of the later picks to move up early in the 2nd round? Or is the price going to be too steep?

Problem is, like most of the OL and ILB help more at round 3 than 2, so would look again at DT if one drops in round 2.
TE perhaps, or OL would be my guess from TT.

Just read a rumor on Twitter that Joel Stave might go in the 3rd round. I cannot wrap my head around a reality where that happens.

Sweet that's one pick less we have to worry about a team taking a guy we want in the 3rd on our draft board.

I really hope we see a run on RBs early in the second, that drops a few of the front 7 guys down to us. With all the talent still left in the front 7 a RB run could be a windfall.

I think he'll get drafted but anyone who takes him in the third is nuts.

I don't know. But I'd offer these opinions about the two guys everyone is excited about.

Ragland: Having an enlarged aorta that is susceptible to an aneurysm is serious stuff. Obviously for Ragland but also for the team that drafts him. Having a guy potentially die in a practice or the like is something no one wants to see happen, nor happen on their team's watch, plus the potential liability to the team. I have no idea what his true medical condition is, but I'd avoid it all costs. That's why I think he could slip a long-ways.

Jack: Do these teams have access to an MRI of his knees? You'd need that to understand how much or little cartilage he has left and where the thin points are located. If it turns out his knees can't comfortably take the cutting and pounding of practice, games and even working out (say doing squats or leg presses) then he'd have to turn to microfracture surgery.

As we know, microfracture puts you out at least a year, and at this point is no longer viewed as an optimal answer to these type of problems. Jack could still be there when we pick in the second round tonight. Again depends on how bad/good those films look or if teams even has full access to them.

I would think a contender would be more likely to take a chance with Jack but even contenders have holes to fill. My guess is someone takes him mid second round.

I agree with you on these two. Jacks knee is definitely a major concern otherwise he's a top 10 lock. Microfracture is a bad procedure and it's really scary for a guy whos game is built on speed and explosivness.

Ragland is an interesting case because I'm not sure it's the heart issue as much as team being unsure if he can stay on the field in the nickel. Two down run stuffing lbs are simply not viewed as a value and worth a high pick.

Lots of guys on this list who seem too good to be true for a 2nd. I could add some more (DEION JONES). Enough guys that it seems plausible we could actually get one of them. Actually Adams, I would still presume he'll be there and we might even be able to get him in the 3rd, just because... TEs.

Agreed. Teams might not see the value of him being an every down player. Just noting that there are so many external concerns about a guy with an aorta issue that Ragland might slip down to round 4 or 5 or worse. That said, if some have seen his medical films, maybe the concern is overblown.

BTW, Jeff Green in the NBA did undergo the surgery and he's back out playing. But that said, it is not a walk in the park procedure and Green is the only pro athlete I'm aware of that made it back from that type of condition.
