Houston lucky that wasn't picked off.

Nice drive, granted we got some help from Akron.

Akron defense will be totally gassed by halftime if this keeps up. Keep running it right down their throat.

Defense and OL are going to be the calling card again this year, like most. The LB corps swarms to the fb. I figured there was a great chance at a safety on that drive, so it was justified going for it on our own. They gave us the luxury.

Chryst has no faith in Houston. He's not letting him throw in pretty much any situation where we have likely points and/or he'd have to throw through a crowd. High chance he'll get picked off. Should have 1-2 so far. But Akron is really bailing us out by playing so far off receivers, making a lot of throws easy.

Tackling that drive was hot garbage. Luckily we got a fumble recovery.

forced fumble

Ey, Houston threw a td pass. Peavy popped wide open on that slant, and Bart made no mistake about it.

Amazing that he doesn't have an INT today because he nearly had another on that drive. Against decent opposition I think he's going to have multiple INT's in the majority of games. Looks like he's playing Madden.

Was it just me or did Tindal get away with a hold/PI on that INT?

The only way teams can score against us this season are off turnovers or special teams. Our defense can't be scored upon with a long field, so don't take many chances.

There's a good pass, on the mark, for a td. The guy can make some plays. Guess we're going to have to take the good with the bad with his Madden style. It's not like we have a choice.

I don't think he's very good but those were a couple of really impressive throws by Houston.

Crazy how Houston can have drives like the last one that resulted in a Peavy TD after he overthrew a couple players and nearly had a couple picks and then has that drive where he puts in a couple of great throws.

Like a slightly more mobile Stave.
