Re: PGT: Vikings
I'm ready for a new coach and damn close to being ready for a new GM. Look at what the Vikings did tonight with Diggs. There's no reason we can't do that with Cobb and Montgomery.
Just awful. **** this team. **** this coach. **** this QB.

Just a replay of last year.
Why do we wait until our backs are against the wall to finally open it up?

"We're going to look at the tape tomorrow and we're gonna get things fixed". Yada yada yada
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Re: PGT: Vikings
This is the least enthused I've been about a Packers team since 1986, with perhaps a brief Gado pause.
Yay. 10-6 wild card with the leagues easiest schedule. Congrats.
Blame top to bottom, save Daniels and maybe Ryan and Tretter. Coach and GM, if it continues.

Re: PGT: Vikings
I said that this week was a big test for this offense. Well, it failed. Specifically, Rodgers failed.

Re: PGT: Vikings
Wow the way NBC is talking about Bradford you would think they put up 28 points. Don't know who they play next week, but without AP there won't b 8 in the box you can easily double DIggs. After watching them really don't think they'll be there down the stretch.

I'm fine with the GM. Look at what NE's offense is doing with a backup QB and the best TE in the game out.
I made the infamous "we'll never win a SB with McCarthy" thread, and if not for Rodgers going God-like in the playoffs it would hold true.
I have no clue what the guy is thinking. Plays it safe against AZ by not going for 2, then passes on a tying FG to hand it off to our skinny back out of the gun.
Always waits until our backs are against the wall to open it up.

Yep, this feels exactly like last year. No more excuses for Aaron. He is playing like sh*t.
No R-E-L-A-X this year, f*cking get it together, dude. I say that with love.

I'm pissed mainly because this game was there for the taking. We lost on the road to a rival having all of the emotion of opening a new stadium. And we played terrible and our idiot coach left game-tying points on the board.

Yeah. Losing by 3 on the road at a new stadium opening, on paper doesn't look bad. But this game was too winnable.

Re: PGT: Vikings
Thoughts on the Game
Scheme continues to be an issue, the only time we excelled on O was the second half in the hurry up when we used the middle of the field or ran quick slants. 5 step drops and long developing plays can't scheme anyone open.
Rodgers was terrible. Has an awful time throwing to his left and I count the amount of times there's a RB/TE on a bubble screen or check down where he's thrown the ball at their feet. 2 forced fumbles on him along with an terrible iNT throw on 3rd down, just don't get it.
Adams-Why are you carrying 7 WR's if you're only going to play 3? Why was trevor davis in the game before a guy like Abby?
Pretty clear lacey has lost a step, hitting the gap he's slow and starks isn't much of an improvement.
O=line allowed a few hurries but in general is the least of our concerns.
Front 7 win MVP-Great pressure on Bradford all game and shut down AP. Perry is really coming into his own, hope he can stay healthy.
Randall-Just an awful night, it was a big night for him to step up and show we have options if Shields is out for an extended period. He completely whiffed on multiple routes and was the Achilles heal tonight.
The rest of the secondary and the dime ILB played well, no real gaffes and thought all the ILB played well in coverage. Really hope Hawkins is ready if Rollins or Hyde are out for extended time along with Sheilds out.
The new punter is terrible along with the PR, both aren't easy fixes.

Also **** the going for it at the 13 on a 4th and 1. The ****, you're on the road and could tie the game. Take the points.

Losing by 3 points we left on the board, and being -2 in the turnover department.
I'm going to wait and see how we look at home before overreacting.

Guion hurt could be huge, hope it's minor.

@RobDemovsky reports Letroy Guion sprained his MCL. That'll keep him out until after the bye. Packers will have to add a DL this week.
**** me in the ass.

I would only be half as pissed if being a gambler was his MO. But going for the tie against AZ and the debacle that was our red zone decisions against SEA in the NFCCG, this team probably was not ready to go for it down there.

Re: PGT: Vikings
What is so discouraging is the so many problems across the board that need fixes, even after last year.
One thing if we were playing a really good team but the Vikes played an okay game at best minus AP for the last portion. And minus their #1 corner and we still couldn't throw.

Pro Football Focus @PFF 18s18 seconds ago
Sam Bradford was under pressure on 48.6% of drop backs tonight, second-highest rate of Week 2, so far.
I've given up on PFF player grades, but that's an interesting stat.
