Lions @ Pack - Noon - FOX

The Green Bay Packers aren't worried about quarterback Aaron Rodgers. In their minds, he is absolutely fine, throwing well and not the problem with the offense.

Instead, as Green Bay gets set to host the Lions on Sunday, the focus is on more explosive plays. And to do that, multiple sources tell me the Packers are putting more speed on the field.

This week, coach Mike McCarthy has installed new packages for young, speedy receivers Ty Montgomery and Trevor Davis. Previously buried on the depth chart, both players will be unveiled Sunday.

I hope davantes snaps are being cut in half... I don't expect him to be at zero but would be very pleased if they are going to finally use the other wrs.

I like how it took them this long to figure out that hey, maybe the guys we're playing aren't huge play makers and we should maybe start playing guys who might be.

5 starters out on D.

With Hyde moved into the starting safety spot and Gunter presumably on the outside in dime and nickel, i'm interested to see what they do in the dime. Will hyde slide down to a cb role and if so, will it be Brice or Banjo who replaces him?

OLB-Without Clay/Jones can Peppers handle more snaps this week at OLB and the DL in the dime? Elliot needs to show he has more than one move and Fackrell needs to do a lot better than the first two weeks when he gets kicked around like a rag doll.

Without Guion and Pennel the Packers will rely heavily on three below average players in Brice, Lowery(only on the team because of where he was picked) & ringo. Good news is this group played well last week mainly because of Clark's play, but any injury to Clark or Daniels and we're ****.

On offense I'll assume most of you guys have read the report on game planning with Montgomery and Davis to use their speed to make the perform. Then of course you have to hope the best QB in football can fix his accuracy and gun shyness.

Only thing on ST is to pray that the punter can help the field position.

Also watching Adams snaps, if we really are going to scheme for those two you have to think his PT will be cut. Also interested what they do with Cook, since the last 2 weeks Rodgers hasn't looked anywhere in the middle.

Also this is an easy D for the offense to go up against, terrible LB group and no pass rushing options today. Outside of Slay, Rodgers should have a field day.

Quick hitters, Lacy more north-south.

Rodgers under center more. More straight playaction.

GOOD.

Great drive vs a terrible D. Good for confidence for Devante as well.
