Yes, Hornibrook completing passes will open up the run. Probably not a lot but at least more than waiting until 3rd and long to pass will.

Judging from that first UM series, this is going to be a heck of a test for the D. They are going to attack us down the field.

Michigan attacking the middle and edges of the field with short throws. Much smarter gameplan than MSU, and Speight is good enough to make those throws. Could be a tough day.

Defense is really struggling. Short throws aren't allowing us to get to the QB. Looks a lot like Georgia State except Michigan will actually convert the drives into points.
