So who is coming back off IR, Lacy, Shields, someone else?

I'd bet that if Shields passes his baseline it'll be him. If not then Lacy.

Yowza. The injuries (in Shields case, a definitively career threatening injury) to Shields and Lacy, Rodgers woeful play (by Rodgers own set-standards), the punting, Jordy's post-injury 31 yo Jordy play, MM's lack of creativity, Cook's injury...yes, I agree: the dream season continues.

Depending on how the next 8 games go they may not bring back either one
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

There is a very real possibility his career is over...I hate to say it, but I know everyone here is thinking it too.

Shields says he's going to play and his career isn't over.

I think they're just being very conservative with him. He got good news from a neurologist.

If he doesn't play rest of this year I'm sure once TT cuts him he will play in 2017

I don't see why they don't expand the IR designated to return to two or three guys. Why have a guy who can't play for 8 weeks take up a roster spot.

Do players have to agree to go on the IR? It seems like they get screwed. If lacy is healthy come December I don't get why the league won't let him play.
