Seeing reports on Twitter that the Packers have waived Knile Davis.

Well, it was clear he wasn't an answer imho. No ability to make cuts. Not a zone read kind of guy. He's essentially a kick-off returner who can spell a 3rd down back in emergency situations. We haven't had a 3rd down back (well, apparently, it's now Ripkowski) and we have capable returners in Janis and Davis. Address another need.
More importantly, how bad is Dick Rodgers? He really is not a starter caliber player. To me, he's a PS candidate. His blocking is worse than Barclay's.

We apparently don't have to give up a draft pick to the Chiefs now? I guess it's a smart move considering he clearing isn't the answer, so might as well cut ties now and salvage the draft pick.

When he tried to cut, he looked like a boat turning. Big engine, no handling.

Surprising but yet not all that surprising

So what exactly did our scouts see in him to make TT trade for him? Anyone want to buy a Knile Davis jersey?

Try to get it signed and it might be worth as much as the Malik Allen jersey one day.

Trade deadline is tomorrow. Wonder if something is in the works.

Guy might have had the worst vision of any RB I've ever seen. Vernand Morency was better

Would be excited to hear they traded for Joe Haden. But 1) trading a 3rd-4th round pick (figure that would be the cost) would be atypical for the Packers, and 2) heard that Haden has been hurt this year. Hope that Shields doesn't have to retire, but it might be better for him to do that.

Talk about a waste of a 3rd round pick. Not sure what Ted thought he saw in RR but man he's useless out there. This offense needs a serious overhaul at TE and RB

I love how all of this wasn't clear to the guys getting paid big money in the front office BEFORE they acquired him.

Oh well, we'll try again via trade in 2022 or so.
Hey, I'm proud of TT for Cook and Davis, as minimal moves they may be. Even if they don't work out, shows the guy still has a pulse.

Give it a rest. It cost them nothing to take a flyer on a fast guy that was buried on someone else's team. You complain if TT does nothing, you complain if he takes a flier. Maybe they should inquire about Ezekiel Elliot, I'm sure he's available
