Thought for sure that was a pass but that might actually be a fumble.

At worst should be grounding.

I wish we could put Hornibrook's brain into Houston's body.

Thought he was going to cough it up on the goal line again when he stuck his arm out.

Feel a lot more comfortable now with the 2-score lead after that conversion. Our fb's are killing it in short yardage this year. So much drive in their legs.

This is still a game against Northwestern, so crazy things often do happen, and usually in their favor when they do.

Time for the defense to close this out now. Don't relax and let them march down the field now that we finally opened up a lead.

Some sketchy tackling in the secondary today.

Great, now Watt is dead.

Any more LBs wanna get hurt? Maybe Biegel can tear his sac.

Huge hole there. Should've had a first, but Clement is impatient and loves to run into the back of his blockers.

I can't say I've seen a team do that before.

Trying to completely run out the clock by killing 5 extra seconds running backwards.

Solid win
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I'd let Houston be the starter or get the majority of the snaps unless he screws up bad.

Hornibrook has a noodle arm and for all of the blame Houston gets for dumb interceptons, Hornibrook has also thrown his share of dumb picks. He has a 6/7 TD/INT ratio. There have just been way to many instances where Hornibrook either doesn't have enough arm to make throws on out patterns to the sideline or he lofts those balls on deeps throws to high with no zip that defenders break up plays when one of our receivers has the DB beat.

Besides all of that Houston is much more mobile on plays when pressured.

Chryst drove me crazy with that. Nearly every series, run Clement twice and then it's 3rd and 4-7 yards to go. It was as if a first down pass didn't exist on his play call sheet.

I get that Hornibrook sucks, but maybe he would have a better chance to complete one of his floaters when NW was selling out run on first down.
