Apparently King was #1 on the Packers board since the beginning.

Can't complain about this. Good looking corner, imo.

I bet that's why we didn't trade down. They got tipped off seattle wanted King and just took him.
Now a pass rusher later and Sidney Jones with the 3rd round pick.

Heard the other Washington corner was even better. This true?

Great pick. This creates a ton of options for our defense. Love the pick of a big fast corner, that could create match up problems. Plays outside and in. I like the pick!

Position of need and definitely not a reach

Ted's always been about value, and this is a big-time value pick.

Oh hell yeah. Great pick. Awesome ball skills, super long frame 6'3" CB with 4.4 speed. Very excited for this kid and our team!

good move. House signing and taking King puts the pressure on Randall and Rollins to step it up. Should have some really good competition.

I'm not keen on the general strategy of drafting another cornerback when you already have a young group who needs to be pushed down the depth chart, but I have heard this guy has the most upside of all who are left, so I do like it from that standpoint. We need a #1, not more 2's and 3's, now and going fw. Only thing is for the former interests he needs to translate that ability almost right away. We'll see how it goes. I would still like to acquire Revis or another vet that had in the recent past established himself as a #1, and then strategically this move falls into place more as a draft and develop, not play and rely heavily upon right away.

Yes, but he ruptured his Achilles on pro day.

Sad that we had to go this route. Still need to find a way to pressure the passer or it won't matter much
