Round 5, Pick 182 - Aaron Jones
I like him. He seems quick and cerebral.

I love this pick. I really hope we use him in the James White-passing game roll.

Checked out some highlights and dude definitely has some burst and change of direction.
They need to get some scouts on that UTEP oline they created some huge holes in what i was just watching.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Alternative to Montgomery and a truer rb. Looks like he has great burst through a hole to fit our base shotgun formation, passing the ball out of it 75% of the time. He can catch the ball out of the backfield. Has some wiggle. I think this guy and Williams will be assets. I don't have a problem with 2 backs because they complement each other. Just thought 3 was overdoing it. Would have made more sense to pick up another lineman because they are harder for teams to evaluate so they can slip and that's where we really need depth. On most downs/situations we could even get away without having a rb out there.

Has a great chance at making the roster. Apparently Don Jackson won't be back, so it's Montgomery, Michael, Williams, Jones, and the 7th rounder right now. I'd guess that it will be Montgomery and Williams as locks, then Jones as the most likely #3 on the depth chart.
