I am in this boat (over here  ). Every dyammmm year. BUT this year feels different. I swear, we must keep 9.

My prediction: In a perfect world, we keep Dupre, McCaffrey, Crockett, Clark, and Yancey. Realistically, they are fighting for one roster spot. 1 or 2 makes it to PS. The others sign elsewhere.

And, whatever happened to the Cajuste signing? I swore we nabbed him in the offseason.

We IRd him last December and I guess didn't bring him back.

Also Callahan is Matt Flynn.

A shorter but more mobile Flynn is a damn good back-up. He makes a Hundley trade all the more palatable, imho.

Why are there 2 FBs on the roster? Such wasted evaluation space. I mean
Rip had the position sewn up, no?

It's a McCarthy thing. They value the FB's. Maybe it's that Pittsburgh grit? Maybe it's ST related for wedge busting and setting. I don't know. It's rare. I don't think we'll carry 2 FB's this season due to such good depth in other areas.

I just don't see it with Callahan. His physical tools just don't seem to be there. I would much rather see what Hill can do with an extended look.
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Agreed! I think too many people like him over Hundley for the obvious reason.

I hope that obvious reason is the fact Hundley has more upside and more value in a trade - i.e. We could get a decent draft pick or a quality defensive/OL player. Callahan isn't giving the Pack jack.

I also agree on Hill. If he can stay healthy, quite an intriguing prospect. Definitely moreso than Callahan.
