I guess the B1G has created protected crossovers on a 6 year cycle, probably to help create more big matchups for TV. These are the crossover games that are happening every season from '16-21:

WIS/MICH
IOWA/PSU
NEB/OSU
NW/MSU
PUR/IND
MINN/MD
ILL/RUT

My guess would be we'll be matched with Ohio St. or Penn St. on the next 6 year cycle.

Also interesting that they've ended the Iowa/Nebraska and Wisconsin/Minnesota games to end the year. Instead those 4 teams will be on a rotation. Could set up some potential winner takes all games for the West division between UW and Iowa or Nebraska which would be fun.

I wish they'd leave those last games alone. The battle for the Ax is a fun way to end the season.

Yes I like the rotation between Wisconsin/Nebraska/Iowa/Minnesota. Those games could be a lot of fun at the end of the year.

I am not sure how I feel about opening the season with a conference game.

Also that 2021 season will have an interesting start to it.

Good finish coming up in USC vs Texas Hopefully Texas can pull this off. This Texas QB is not good though.

Right after I say that he throws a potential game winning TD

Pretty creepy/cool that Cal's football stadium is built directly over a fault line. They were talking earlier how they have this sand stuff and it's in a hole along the line and when it gets shaken out of the hole you know the plates are hitting each other.

And Cal looks good. Good for Wilcox. Earlier in the game they had back to back plays where an Ole Miss defender held a receivers arm and grabbed a receiver's jersey, neither of which was called and then the idiot refs called an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on Wilcox for having the audacity to say they suck at their job.

Painful OT loss for Bielama. Love it.

Michigan down at the half. Is Purdue finally legit again? They haven't been the same since...

Iowa beating PSU, Baylor up on OKC. This weekend may not suck for games after all.

Insane finish for Penn St there. I don't even think McSorley was throwing it to the guy that ended up catching the TD on the last play.

Happy for Dave Doeren. He's had a lot of close calls, it nice he got a breakthrough win, despite the FSU QB situation.

Has anyone noticed the bottom of the Big Ten is getting a lot better and they have competent coaches too? Rutgers is still really far away but Maryland, Purdue and Indiana look competent and have good coaches.

Yeah...though Maryland is having some tough luck. This is the 2nd year in a row that they're going to go a large chunk of the season playing their 3rd string QB.

I'm probably in the minority but over the past year or two, I do not care about Bielema and Andersen and am generally cheering for them.

Bielema was kinda a dick and abruptly left so I do sometimes enjoy the "W/L since the karma tweet" thing, but otherwise we are literally in as good of a position as we can be as Wisconsin fans save for some insane shift of money, population base, and coach.

We have a good coach that would probably coach for free and sustained success. If Bielema got to the playoffs for Arkansas maybe I'd turn on him slightly but otherwise I've got no ill will.

Andersen was just a really odd situation. It wasn't the right fit for both sides so he bolted and thank god he did. I do laugh at how bad it is employing his strategy at possibly the worst team in a good conference...it's a very bad idea to do that. The juco/transfer dual-threat game was a smart idea at Utah State in a conference of lower tier schools with not major resources. You're not gonna overtake a stable conference doing that trying to bring dynamic, dual-threat guys to Corvalis, OR. You have to sell your soul to the nth degree to play that game and have it work (Baylor) in a good conference.

Long story short...I'm now at "meh" on Bielema/Andersen. We're in a great situation and both in some way at least built the bridge (BB) or didn't let it collapse (GA) so they can do whatever the hell they want to since we're just fine now.
